anyone have a preference for what brand Moly Engine lube to get?

stuff is hard to find local. I found some Isky stuff at summit but they want more to ship it than the crap costs. 17 bucks in shipping for a 15.49 product that weighs 4 ounces….

We use red Torco assembly lube when building engines
 
Good evening men, lade my head down on a pillow at 7 pm, two hours after a big fish dinner, wife stayed up till 10, Mikie woke up with indigestion and came to the living room.. I bet I sleep on the couch tonight, got 4 hours, need 4 more.

Sun is late this morning.
No rain today. And warm.
Another round of slobbering paint on hoist today. Then it has 2 weeks to cure. And grass cutting. Bought some gas so i should be good to go.
Returned the 51 mercury to its owner yesterday, im suprised how nice it rides. Steers like a pig though.

LoL... the word "agile" was probably never used to describe a 51 Merc. :D

Going to see if I can do some diagnosis on the transmission in the Valiant this morning before work.

This one is a pickup,1 ton 9 foot box with a dump. Its cool-ish.
 
Good morning coffee crew !! Say it loud because it's thunder and lighting and tones of rain since 2 am again this morning.. lighting has taken out a rehab hospital at 2:40 am, had to evaluate, not sure why, our TV station is off line as well..
But our trees and cows are happy, along with all the farmers
I can't remember the last time it stormed like this.. well..maybe I can :lol:

what problems are you having ?
I had a new transmission that was just stubborn to get working right years ago, put it up in jack stands and let it spin, and spin and spin till it finally learned how to shift into 3rd gear, its like it just needed to be burped like a baby :lol:

I hear that, we have been in a drought, it rained on and off yesterday and it has been steady all morning. I seen that Russia is flooding bad as well on the news

It was fine, then I changed the cooler lines and now it's like the Park does not disengage and the pushbuttons go from total mush (no resistance at all) to being very difficult to depress.... and the car does not go into gear at all

Its odd as it uses two cables. Need someone to push your buttons..

Do you have the rear tires off the ground ? Letting it free wheel ?
 
Mike is on to something, park pawl has load on it, could be causing this or as Ray said cable failed.
