I hear ya.. If I posted a pic of me now FABO will ban me forever! My wife says I went feral after retirement from the USAF. I was a good looking guy at one time if I say so myself. I have a really bad idea! Before and after 30 year pics? I am sure the comments would be interesting, If you have thick skin!
 
Morning all. Sounds like today will be a good day to get organized. That's a good plan. I have a lot of that to do. Cheers to the first cup of coffee. tmm
 
She was a great lady. Like a second mom to me so I couldn't say no.
 
I hear you, Just found out a few weeks ago that a friend of mine who was like a sister but closer died. It hit my wife and I really hard. Just talked to her a few day before and she was great at the time.
 
Morning all, coffee is hot and I just built a fire out in the shop. Recieved my new Taylor spark plug wires yesterday. Have them installed on the passenger side. Need to get two 90 degree plug boots for the #5 & 7 then I can finish up the drivers side.

Good news about my niece, she only need a lumpectomy and has to have two or three lympnoids removed then 6 week of radiation. Doctor told her the cancer she has is very slow growing and easy to get rid of.

Now back to the coffee!
 
Good Morning Friends, Exited today. A man I have not yet met is bringing a car here today for an oil change and tire rotation. I found out somehow that his son has a 70 Cuda he is trying to sell that has been sitting in a garage for 25 yrs. I haven't mentioned it to the father yet. I'm waiting to get him here first, to spring the QUESTION on him. Supposed to be a 318 Gran Coupe 3spd on the floor.

Great news Stan, third cup going here. Need to get out but the wind is realy rockin it, guess I will fire up the heater in the garage.

Every muscle of mine aches today from moving all the furniture in the restaurant but I should count my blessings.
 
Morning all. Slept in today. Its brewing! I am to old to lay on my back on cold concrete.
 
Morning Fabo .....im already up working the sandblast cabinet ......nothing sweeter than freshly cleaned parts and hardware ready to be coated and assembled.

I have so much fun when I get parts cleaned up and coated. I imagine being on the assembly line back in March of 1972 at the Hamtramck plant putting together this car for the first time. Even though there was no Clifford intake and header then :???:

I think the clean hardware will make the getting correct torque spec easier.

Anyways ....hopefully I will get a lot done today with no distractions. :violent2:

the new thing I am trying is to stay focused on one project and only one project. I am determined to finish this slant six project to the end. The temptation to let myself get distracted and work on something else and never get anywhere significant is a powerful force.
 
Oatmeal is down the hatch and coffee is being ingested. Suppose to be a gorgeous day here and I think Im heading out ice fishing to get some crappies for dinner.. Well I hope anyways. Yesterday we only caught 3 Perch that were about twice the size of our minnows.
 
Morning all. Well help was supposed to come today to hook up the garage for solar powered lighting and general organizing.

Mother nature arrived instead. all major roads are shut down, ice storm. The walkway to the garage is a sheet of glass.

Ugh!
 
Mornin all, two cups down and just got to work. Rani, I thought you were dropping a 383 in the 72. Need some pics of the slanty bild.
