Morning all. Cookin breakfast now. Gonna look at a diff in my buddies 95 Ram today. Makin some noise. I think it's in the pinion shaft. I'll get it up on the lift and pull the drive shaft. That should tell me.
Good morning kids! The temps are already in the 20's which is good. I have to crawl under my tool truck this morning and put on a fuel pump. I got the old pump off and the gasket surfaces cleaned up last night. I hope to be running and back on the road by 10:00. Wish me luck. tmm

Yep outside but no wind and I brought all the tools, bolts, and parts inside to warm up. It should be easier to slip off my gloves and start bolts and lines.

You know its cold out when the forced air heater would not start, (I have been using diesel in it but I really need to use kerosene when it gets really cold). Did my dumb thing today. I usually do things like that right before the sound of "hey bill hold my beer" echo's in the shop. Use extreme caution using starting fluid spray on a heater. WHUUUUMP!
Be careful. We don't want to hear about your shop burning down on the noon news. Worse yet that you get hurt in the process...... tmm

Four cups down... Cat's been fed and has gone out. Wife is still asleep, The day dawned gray, and the temp outside is 37ºF.
Got a voice mail ( remember when they were called "phone messages"?) from an ex-customer needing some advice on who to call to get some work done on his office. I'll call him back after 9am.
I've been doing a lot of that since I retired. It happened quite frequently when I was in business, customers would ask for recommendation on other trades to get stuff done. Now, I get these calls on my cell, from former customers... All commercial customers looking for advice and opinions on commercial contractors to do work for them.
Joyce says I should start a referral company, "Frank's List". lol All I need is a cell phone and my tablet.

Hey why not, It can be a local thing. I did hops when I had people stopping by to buy them when I was going to start homebrewing. Now it is more than a hobby but not really a business! Just a one man LLC to keep me occupied. I always wanted to start Rent a little person for the hard to reach jobs.

Good Morning Coffee gone and had my toast . 22 temp this morning and no wind will be a nice day. WE are looking for a newer RV trailer and waiting for a call back to see if one is still available then want to look at it. The trailer is 125 miles away . Have the 66 Valiant 2 dr at the paint shop and want to look and see how it is going. Should be painted next week. Then put it back together. Have a Good any everyone .

Just back from Africa and on my second cup of coffee, starting the sleep cycle reset, been up since 4am. Great to be back in the USA. temp difference adjustment will be needed, was 90 degrees there, 26 outside now. Brrrrrrrrr.
Welcome back. I used to hate coming home from the sandbox unless it was summer. 130 to 30 really is hard to adjust to. Did you have to do the quarantine thing or were you in dj?
Morning all. I just poured my first cup and waiting for a quick cool down for my first sip. I got my 64 Friday photos posted on FBBO. Friday is trash day and I have all of it done but the upstairs bathroom. Plugged my truck in even though the temp is in the 20's so it will start easy. Yesterday morning I had to put a fuel pump on the ol' girl. The install went smoothly and I was on the road by 10. Have a great Friday all. tmm
