Well it is almost 0900 so I am off to find a parts store that has parts for the wife's firechicken, now # 6 has an intermittent misfire, see what happens when you do preventive maintenance like change the plugs! Has the stupid metal heat protectors on the plug boot and it is either that going into the wire when it gets hot or the coil packs. I really need to park it in the hood for a while and check if its there monthly. I really hate her midlife car!!!!!! Put almost 2g into it the last few months. I wonder if a 225 will fit? Unfortunately it has to get the rear window sail on the top replaced tomorrow because when the defroster was turned on on a really cold morning it shattered because the top was put down whern the spare trunk (top well) was full and scrapped a line through the grid, we also have an ice storm coming! Boy can I *****! Must need more coffee. I think there are a few dd on the way!
Worse, it's in our hometown, in front of all of our peers!!! Yikes!! But I told all of the kids if they tried out I would too! If any one of us gets a part, we have to go through with the commitment even if nobody else gets a part!! They're all up for it!! Just trying to keep them busy having fun that isn't computer orientated!! Geof

First cups gotta be straight stuff. After that I sometimes do flavored creamers,( vanilla or Irish usually). Also like a good Mocha, but that's usually later in the day.

Today is a big day. For over a year I have been learning with a mentor how to do futures trading. Hundreds of hours practicing "on paper" with my laptop. Today I pick up a new computer built to specs for real trading, with two big monitors. Once I'm up to speed practicing with my new computer, I'll move on to doing it for real money!
I'm turning 55 in March and I'm NOT going to be a 60 year old waiter. God willing I'll own another Mopar too!

Well I found the rotten smell, the heat shield on #6 wire had the boot arcing to it, Of course I need to use my buds lift to fix it. I just routed a new wire where I could, 3800 is a good motor but unworkable on in a firechicken!

Cat woke me up at 5:15AM. Fed her, made a cup of coffee for me, and came down to my office to blow some time away on the net. Cup #4 coming in about 30 seconds.
Mornin all. Second glass of Iced Tea. Gonna knock around out in the shop today with some work on the GTS.
Just licking my wounds from all the weird positions on my back yesterday on the shop floor. Looks like the weather here will not be as bad as predicted, No ice and just light snow here so far. On about my 4th cup and been up since 330. Goldfish congrats, I do ok with stocks but am lost on the options market. I am so glad I have always been an investor and a word to the wise out there if you do not have it buy some disability insurance! It sure helped me when I went out of work....5 yrs later still waiting for the VA to get it together, that is a whole rant in itself!

what a weather roller coaster around here ....yesterday was almost 60 degrees and right now its snowing again.
It was great to have a warm day ....I ended up burning a bunch of tumbleweeds and moved some cars around. I like to keep the yard where all the cars are looking neat. Cars in straight rows, no parts on top of the cars or the ground. Keep the place clean .....its already bad enough to have a bunch of old cars in one place at least make it look like someone cares is my logic.
Today looks like a good day to spend in the sandblast cabinet for all the under hood brackets and bolts for the slant six build in progress.
