Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Second cup, might be a fourer this morning.COLD AGAIN THIS MORNING, COULD NOT GET THE SHOP WARMER THAN 51 YESTERDAY WITH THE COAL STOVE ON AND THE 200K HEATER FULL BLAST. I REALLY NEED TO GET A BARRIER ON THE CEILING. Ranidart you are nuts!!!!!!! But great idea! Will it work on stripping paint from a car also? My wifes Firechicken could use that treatment soon! LOL

Added water, put filter in, grabbed the coffee and there was only enough in there for about a half pot. Needless to say the coffee is really weak this morning. Oh well it still warm on this chilly day

22 degrees here which isn't bad but the problem is that it rained last night and now the roads are an ice rink.

I was seeing people on the main road spinning out and hitting the ditches because its deceivingly slick and it took me double the time to get to and from work.

I held it together until I was almost to my house and must have been a slick spot because I ended up taking out 2 trash cans and knocking over a mail box. If I was on the game grand theft auto ....that would have probably been 150 points.

Back home ....today is fixin to be a real fun day......nothing sweeter than a freshly turned flywheel and a new clutch set to put together and start the day off. :)

Ok, I don't like the way that mouse is eyeing that setup!! Must know something we don't!!! :)

No worky for me, 2nd day in a row!! Might take my 340's over to the machine shop if the roads clear up! Can't be in Ann Arbor too late or you never get out!! 3rd cup already today, i just love shoveling snow at 6:00 in the morning!!! Happy Friday all!! Geof

looks like some "weather" might be moving thru Ok sat-sun and headed for you guys back East!! I honestly don't know who you guys cope with the cold AND snow!?????
maybe why some of you guys retire to the South!!! LOL

Two cups so far and coooooooold again. Barbee I do not know why I ever left Hawaii for I hate this weather. I saw a great post here a while ago that said "strap a snow shovel on the front of your car and when someone asks what's that thing on the front for? park and stay there"

Second Glass of Iced Tea. Morning all. Got my blast cabinet working again yesterday after replacing the vac motor. Clean up some small parts for the GTS today.

Third cup going down. About to jump in the truck for a short road trip to visit family for the weekend. Hopefully I won't find any ice along the way..

NUF SAID!

Well here it is Saturday morning, cup #1, cold as heck out and some goofy dude wants to come look at my 37 plym coupe. I am not that interested in selling it....not that interested in going out....why oh why did I ever get out of bed this morning? Oh yeah for the coffee! Here comes cup #2

Mornin' fellas. My first cup is almost gone. I'm planning a nice Saturday just me and my lady. Weekends kick ***!

Well PA is well represented here today. Harry and Ray its good to see you up! I gots to get out to visit you guys but not today!

Come on by anytime in the summer when the pond is warm and the bas are jumping, the hops growing tall and the beer is cold! Maybe the 440 will be in the dart then! Kind of funny thing this time of year but I am putting the beer in the garage in the fridge now to keep them warm!

I think she's putting it in a 383 Dart, that she is getting roadworthy.

yes I am getting a 383 project together but first I have a slant six car in the shop that I need to get running.

The exhaust kit I ordered last week is for the 383 car but the clutch set up is the 9 1/2 inch one for the slanty car.

The slanty car is not mine but I am getting it running.

Yesterday was a mega show stopper though....I didn't realize that pressure plate bolts are different size for the slant six as the V8. I have a set in stock for the V8 and I assumed they would work on the slanty ....too big :banghead:

With these old cars its always something. I guess that is why we love them. :glasses7:

much nicer down here ....still a lot of ice on the roads but the main roads are dry ....supposed to be close to 60 degrees today

Darn, You stay busy!

Darn, You stay busy!

have to .....mopar isn't a brand...its a lifestyle :D

Plus if I don't my cars running and dependable then my parents get worried and start pressuring me to get rid of my older cars and buy some new piece of plastic which in their perception would be "dependable"

A new car is really like a kiss of death to me. I don't want to get into a car and be prompted first thing that I need sync an I-pod.
