Stop in for a cup of coffee

Welcome back. I used to hate coming home from the sandbox unless it was summer. 130 to 30 really is hard to adjust to. Did you have to do the quarantine thing or were you in dj?
Work out of Nigeria, so no quarantine. more Ebola in the US than there. this time of the year only the sand we see is from it blowing to us from the desert, reduced visibility and hard o breath. some times less than 1/4 mile visibility and the helicopters covered in sand, never mind how good it is for the turbine engines.

On my second cup looks like it's going to be in the mid 50's here and raining. Still waiting on some parts I ordered for the dart.
Praying for my niece this morning, she is going in today to find out what her treatment is going to envolve for breast cancer. She is in her 40's and the doctors are pretty sure they can get it all and have been telling her she will be okay.

Glad to hear it. I worked HH-60 (m)g for rescue most of my career, sand is great for the blades. (701 GE) I remember seeing one that was pulled during gulf II that looked like it was plated with glass. Really scary.

Just back from Africa and on my second cup of coffee, starting the sleep cycle reset, been up since 4am. Great to be back in the USA. temp difference adjustment will be needed, was 90 degrees there, 26 outside now. Brrrrrrrrr.
Welcome back and thanks for your service. tmm

Was in U.S.M.C. years ago, but civilian working on helicopters for the oil field. It is sad how little our military makes compared to the civilian sector. God bless our troops and they make it home safe.

Good morning everyone, been chilly, wet and grey for days and days here. It would bother me if I had to be out in it but I don't.

Have a great Friday, God bless us all.

Good Morning everyone! I have no idea how many cups I have had at this point but I am at work and snuck a peek on here.

I want to say thanks to all of you who have or are serving. You have my deepest respect!

Good to hear Stan. My 25 year old nephew is in a similar situation and been battling the dreadful disease for 7 years now. Still a ways to go yet but getting better.

Mornin, second cup down, time to jump in the truck, off to pueblo CO.

cool, what brought you down to the Pueblo area?

Pueblo is an awesome town.

Do you ever go to PMI or cruise Northern or anything cool?

Drank my last cup of coffee this evening, about 7:30pm.

...I'm already looking forward to tomorrow morning!

I was taking a load of oxygen to the steel mill. I use to race at PMI every Sunday. :burnout: Had a disagreement about the rule book and was asked to leave
and never went back

actually that does not surprise me. Things have really changed, even I have not been out there in awhile, its all ricers and tuners now. They used to have the Mopar Vs. Ford races every year ....sometimes twice a year.....all gone now.

Even cruising northern has changed, Muscle cars and low -riders have disappeared in favor of the little fart can tuner cars. Now one of the hang outs is in the O'reilly parking lot by the fairgrounds which can be kinda fun depending on who is there.

Or out by county high for us farm peeps is a hang out. Lately I have noticed that the farm crowd is taking less of an interest in muscle cars and more interest in hopped up diesel trucks. They like to chain rear bumpers together and see who can pull the other one .....it gets really stupid in a hurry.

I might just be getting old ......Friday night and I am on fabo fixing to go to sleep in awhile LOL :???:

Morning all, 2nd cup down. 15 here right now. A lot to do today, helping the daughter move. I also want to finish up the brakes on the dart today since I fixed the sending unit fuel weep and now can weld 2 studs on the axel for the rubber lines from the calipers. Rani, I fell asleep last night on the couch at 1630 or so and just woke up! I am a certified OLD DART!

Goooooooooooooooooood Morning FABO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, presently on the 3 cup of coffee, Cat's been fed, and is now outside ( at least for the moment) Wife is asleep, and I'm in the garage.

Just did a little 20 minute sanding job on a small nic-nac shelf Joyce asked for to be used in the kitchen for some of her small kitchen collectibles. When it warms up, later today, I'm going to spray it satin black before final assembly, which will probably be tomorrow.

Have a good day, everyone.

warm morning here ...almost 40 degrees ....weird feeling to have such mild temps after getting conditioned to freezing all the time. Last few days have been upper 50s and will be till Tuesday :) Even for being upper 50s yesterday lakes and water around is still frozen.

spent some time this morning getting organized ....I am finding that one of the hardest part of working on a car is staying organized. So I am trying a new system to stay focused. :???:

Good Morning! Coffee is brewing! CRAZY day on it's way. A buddy's mom Passed away and he asked me to say something in the service. And I woke up with the right eye swollen shut! AAHHHhhhhh....bring on the coffee!

Dart, No MEANS NO! LOL That sucks being in public looking bad. Sorry to hear about the passing, always rough. Sun Glasses?

My system of organize chaos is get rid of what you have not touché in a year. I have a really big 42/40 and 20 tall.ole barn/shop that I built to put my rv in and it is really hard not to collect things in there. When the stuff against the walls becomes 3 ft thick time to liquidate! Spring and fall full cleanout to get the dust out. Plastic totes are one of my best friends along with a ton of plastic food containers that are usually thrown away.
