Did he get the potatoes from Germany???

You can't make German potato salad without German potatoes....

Or can I say party line in controlled houses?
Yup. When the team all works together (even if they do it grudgingly) that's the norm.

This is a one party city but they don't act like one team. The mayor just vetoed a zoning bill he was expected to support. Now City Council president has decided on the wisdom of special elections to fill vacant seats (making it easier to hit the minumum votes needed for override). Always some drama here, most of that energy does as much as a hamster spinning the wheel.

G'd Morning... No work today. (not paid job anyway)
Did an oops last night. Piece of a tooth broke off while eating a snack. Must have swallowed it . Another molar with a big old filling. Have a few crowns already from others that did same. So far it is not bothering me, but will need to see dentist ASAP.
I did get plugs from RA yesterday, but plenum gasket not here yet, so might hold off on that for the wifemobile. I am still planning to do a yard sale next weekend, so probably work at getting stuff ready for that.
Can't like that. But good morning.

driving from eastern Oklahoma to possibly Walnut Ridge on the 28th of Sept. and Johns neck of the woods on the 4th of Oct
Thank you, walnut ridge... I will look at my calendar, I drive to walnut ridge to hit the flea markets, two good ones there, about 45 minutes away.

Been a good day selling nearing a 400 dollar day for this old man on the hill

Lol. That’s the “Americanized” version.

The real version, you blanch the skins off of gold potatoes. No sugar added.

my grandparents on my dads side came here after ww2. I made the mistake once of leaving the skins on the potatoes, and let’s just say my grandmother, who didn’t really like me anyway(or any kid to be honest), made damn sure I never forgot it. Her parents owned a generational restaurant in Sttugart prior to it getting leveled in the carpet bombings of the town. She was very particular about any thing German dish wise. Her job as a teenager growing up was to make the potatoe salad. And no, she never did give out that recipe. Took it to her grave.

she did give me the Spatzel recipe though

Nope! Gold potatoes were first cultivated in the early 60's. Red's are used because they don't get mushy when cooked. Turn in your chef's hat and get to washing dishes! :poke::lol:
