Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning, 33 here this morning, makes the coffee that much better. I think that transmission is out of a truck or C body.

Thanks... Any idea where a reference for that might be? Everything I find is just that a 904 is a 904...all things the same.

So, I just realized I don't have a display board for my car at MCACN. Hopefully the print shop at work can make me something. I need a design, ugh

That might be a interesting thread. I bet there's a lot of members here that have those. MCACN is a fun show.

Craig has a nice one.
Yes, Craig and I have discussed but I forgot. Print shop can make me one, just not sure what material to use. Being an indoor show, would a foam board be ok? Or plexiglass or????

It's Mixer Truck Monday!

Good morning :D

Our weather man is saying freezing here tonight, a record braking cold shot for us.. let me look, yes, it will fut up the top cap, it will pop off

Yep, talked to @Sublime one
No concrete pour today, he already canceled the pour, good talking to him.
Everyone have a groovy day, got to get moving, go see my doctor and pick up a bluing kit for my good old 870 12 ga .

Colored and stamped concrete and freeze? Good choice to not go there. Expensive fix. :(

If you're only shortening it a few inches can you skip balancing?
I would always recommend rebalancing whether cutting or not . 50-60 year old shafts can get dinged or bent or whatever. I’m actually going to have a billet aluminum one made for mine.

Pulled up the 65 Imperial TSM. Note the location of the Speedometer pinion relative to the transmission mount... The speedo is BEHIND the mount whereas my original is in FRONT of the transmission mount.

Interesting

Talked to the builder. We're going to do a swap and he'll rebuild my original no cost but gas to run it up to P-burg.

Interesting , if you use that tranns you would have to get a longer speedo cable .

And move the crossmember FORWARD about 2 inches. The shorter case 904 actually has the mount set further back from the bell housing. So the cable may actually be long enough all things considered. Yikes

Those wacky Chrysler guys.

Talk about wacky, that transmission you got is one for sure. Too bad you aren't closer. Lon (Lkopaska) could have you fixed and on the road weeks ago.
