Stop in for a cup of coffee

Happend to me one 30 below day when my son forgot to fill the pellet stove.
Ya, i better go throw in another bag before i go. It was running on #2 so it burns a little more than a bag in 24 hrs. Furnace rarely runs. I do like to keep temp up in house. 75/76 is preferred.

That seems pretty efficient.

Well the old boss dug me out of retirement for a few days to replace a 1/4 panel on an Equinox so off to work. Ya all have a great day.

Made it to shop. Took another kick at the gopro footage. Nope. I did locate the files finally, but i have to pay $1.29 so i can view on laptop. Such bs,so many hoops to jump through, im too stupid to figure this crap out, let alone turn it into a decent edited video. Tried setting format so it will transfer files within my phone itself, but no.

Damn computer electronics! It's not that we are stupid. You have to think like a programmer however that is.

Well it is almost 50F here. I need to gather up yet another load of construction debris to the dump today. Hopefully we will get word on a four wheeler today. The one we are pursuing was already purchased in theory but the guy never showed. I feel like a buzzard perched on a telephone line. The owner said they would give the guy until today to show up.

With our state and military retirement, and other stuff the wife and I do pretty good.
We are setting pretty good also, Pension, SS, and my 401 since (rolled over), Biggest mistake was my part time job in the oil field. That one cut my SS by almost $800 a month.

What does "Purchased" mean if there were no funds exchanged?

What is that John, 80° warmer than ND?

Being just down the road from the Marine Corps Supply Center in Barstow and it's frequent surplus sales made me aware of all sorts of technology the general public never got to see  Those brand new Jungle Boots for $2 were the best, like sneakers with a Vibram sole

We went to one of those sales one Saturday morning and witnessed a fellow, probably a Surplus Store owner, rush in and find a table with a stack of Field Jackets on it. Table being 4x8 sheet of 3/4 plywood and 3 saw horses. He pushed all of the jackets into a huge pile on the floor and layed on them to claim as his own  . That's when the fights began  The civil service employees running the show had to call the MPs to break it up
