Stop in for a cup of coffee

Mid engine fun, bet it handles pretty good!
I think there were quite a bit of short comings with it. Leg room and some handling issues. I think the biggest downfall was selling them at Lincoln/Mercury dealers and executives not wanting it to compete with Thunderbird and Mustang. Was a different league.

I saw a doubles competition match on TV a couple days ago, didn't know what I was watching at first
It's alot like tennis but different ball and using a paddle. They have different rules not too hard to catch on. Plays faster than tennis which is what I like.

My brother hates pickle ball. The company he works for makes tennis racket string (among other things)

I ignored it for years. A couple things I like though is they play six days a week and start at 8am versus 1130 start for tennis drill.
The pickleball location is only a mile from the gym so I can get done and drop in and lift a couple three days a week and be done by lunch.
It will slow down though come spring between yard work and morning softball practice twice a week.
Just keep moving most every day and have fun is my motto!!

Can't let the gears get rusty!

And as we know as we get older it's harder to start over working out at any level.
It's true though as many of you know it just feels better doing something most every day.

Sports radio talking heads in the area were discussing it the other day, one guy made the mistake of calling the paddle a racket, boy he got it from the other show host lol! Once while I was with wife visiting her family in Michigan we played a game where you drove bumper cars and threw a ball into a hole up on either end of the rink. There was a racket of some kind, think it was Walley Ball? Can't remember but I do remember you could drink beers and eat good food on the sidelines when you were subbed out of your team, fun!

Good morning, schools are closing, happy winter, bring on the snow and cold, and coffee
Might be a good winter to watch the Vikings, holy cow what a comeback. I was at the hospital and didn't see but have it set up on DVR. NFL record 33 down at half and they win, crazy!

Yesterday I took advantage of all the rain over the last couple of weeks and knocked down a bunch of small trees a pecker wood brush with tract and bucket. Then brush hogged the whole area. Plus pulled out a bunch of abandoned fence. Not quite like going to gym but same result. On and off tractor a million times. Grab tree drag it unwillingly out of the earth. Put in pile for subsequent hot dog party. My back is smoked, figure the only way to get it to loosen up is do it again today! Right at freezing here today with a high of only 45. Tomorrow will be our cold day.

Last halfway warm day here then it plummets down to the 20's then teens on the weekend. Need to go get some diesel for the torpedo heater today, I guess.

Guess what day it is? My 66 is 57 years old today.

Looks like we all got Pantera stories! They were the epitome of cool when they came out. Buddy had one and took me for a spin, I felt like my butt was dragging the pavement it sat so low. No air shocks on those bad boys! Much like Mike we hit 130 or so in third he grinned and said we still had two gears to go. I told him I was good! I had seen him drive a time or two!
