Stop in for a cup of coffee

It is in the block by the oil filter. There is room to work, but not sure the damn thing would come out. 21 years of WI salt. Unless all the oil leaks kept it ok. Rust proofing at its finest....just make every gasket leak..

Why not install one in the lower radiator hose???

My Brother died in Payson, I got some really really bad artwork there! Great views, fun place.
I remember you telling me that and sharing some pics. Even him buried at the base of the rim. Sorry man...

I thought of that and the pump style that goes in a heater hose. We are going to pull it to a friend's down the road where there is heat, and decide from there.

Great day so far here in Vietnam. Got up at 4:30 a.m. to take her to her yoga class. Then I went to the local park to work out for an hour. They have a lot of stationary equipment. Pull up bars sit up rigs dip rigs. Large place to walk also. Came to breakfast at the Thoc Cafe. No I haven't seen that chick here anymore. Lol. Had a nice beef steak and potatoes and bread breakfast, which most people would think is not that popular in Vietnam, but it is. Got a nice iced coffee. Going up to Saigon today at noon for 3 days. Meeting with the visa attorney today to prep her for her interview tomorrow. Going to some big party tomorrow night in Saigon. Coming back here on Friday I assume. Weather is great here. 92° during the day and sunny. High 70s at night.

The lower radiator hose ones work great...

I hear the heater hose ones don't heat the block and coolant as well...

The older boy had his ACL surgery today...

The doctor's office told me last week that the surgery was going to be at 1:10 PM today...

My youngest son wakes me up at 5 AM and tells me we have to get the older son to the doctor's office by 5:45 AM today and it's 30 minutes away... :soapbox:

I waited 3 1/2 hours in the car for him to get out of the surgery...

On the way home he was in alot of pain despite being on pain meds from the doctor.... He even was wincing when I was braking for yellow lights, so I tried to be more careful for the rest of them after we got off the highway...

He just wanted to get home and rest... He was up most of the night anxious about the surgery and didn't get much sleep...

So I dropped him off at home and went to get his prescriptions...

The nurse told me that we have to keep him on schedule for the pain medication or it will take 2 hours for it to "catch up" if it wears off...

So I drop the prescriptions off at the pharmacy and get a bite to eat and come back...

I'm not gonna give the name of his insurance company, but BCBS wouldn't cover the Narco prescription because they need it to be 'preapproved'...

We called last week to get the surgery preapproved, they didn't see it coming that he would need a couple of prescriptions afterward... :wtf: :realcrazy:

On the phone with them (while in the pharmacy parking lot) sand I get transferred to three different people and have to explain the situation to each of them separately... :BangHead:

Then they say that it may take a day or two to get the prescription approved... :wtf: :icon_fU: :realcrazy:

The third one says that she cannot discuss this with me because he's an adult and they need his permission to talk to me... Hey b!tch, he's in alot of pain at home trying to get some sleep... :elmer:

I tell her that I can't wait to do their satisfaction survey so I can rate them low on all questions...

Funny when the survey came up, I got the intro, then it said that I do not qualify to give feedback and disconnected on me... They must have flagged me so I didn't hurt their ratings...

I told them that their name ending in BS was very appropriate... :icon_fU:

So as half hour on the phone to Blue Cross and it went nowhere... I was able to use my Good Rx card and they approved it on the spot without having to get any preauthorization or questions and the pain med only cost me $12... :thankyou:

So the moral of the story is: "F*ck Blue Cross prescription coverage and get a Good Rx card"... :usflag:

I have had the same experience with my insurance as well Karl. ANd Good RX come through for me. I wonder how they do it?

Victory is MINE!!

So I’ve been fighting a new upper ball joint for over a week that I managed to mangle the first three threads on during install. It’s a unique thread pitch it seems as even the 80 piece tap and die set I have didn’t have the right one. 5/8-22. Couldn’t find one anywhere in town either.

Anyway, I tried files, hack saw blade, home made die out of an old castle nut. Threads finally got to looking fine but the new nut would hang there and the ball joint would spin.

A buddy of mine suggested cutting a slot in the top of it to hold it and by golly that worked

Same here with my heartburn meds, skipped the BS with insurance just went good RX. 347 bucks for a 30 day supply, I get 90 days with Good RX for 12.47

Volume(plus I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell your data in the way grocery stores and any “rewards” or “loyalty” cards do)

Insurance is a racket. And they have so many ways to get out of paying. My grandfather had a final expense policy, 10,000 dollars, insurance refused to pay out, claiming he had pre-existing conditions. Claimed him to have kidney disease. Yet his medical records and his own doctors have zero proof of that.

Makes me wonder if all these life insurance polices I signed up for at work will actually pay out if something happens. No medical exam or paperwork to even disclose any potential medical issue. Yet I took out the max they allowed, which is a TON! Would they actually pay out
