Stop in for a cup of coffee

Busy morning!! The office might be cold but you are staying warm I bet

Nice build , so tell me something, if you send me one ,,,, ah,,,, hmmm, how do I say this in this thread, oh !! Do you keep those for yourself?
Well, I just made these 2 for my tunnel ram carbs as I am sorting them out and hate that the throttle linkage is always making them sit crooked. And can't open the throttle blades. Never had or made them before. I will post a pic once I get home and know they work

I would always cringe when guys would throw their Holley on the parts counter. You can bend throttle shafts. A stand is best. Setting them on the edge of the counter with the linkage end over the edge works as well. You can't open the blades though.

That’s the number of degrees the temp is expected to drop from 2pm tomorrow to 9pm tomorrow

What's the over?
47 degrees at noon, -9 by 9pm is what one station is claiming. Snow totals from 1-36inches depending on which weather forecast you read but they are are fairly close on temps and wind

Got the block heater element changed on truck. 6⁰ and soaking wet, but got it. Snowblower now runs and drives. Truck plugged in and slowly charging off the car.

Did some block sanding, sail panels and part of the roof. I feel better seeing how rough it is. Where sail panel meets roof panel, its bad. Factory filled, im sure. Will try to make it a little better.

Well I’ll be danged. The base commander just gave what has to be the most common sense order I’ve ever heard in my time, he’s closing the base till Tuesday. Everyone to telework or be paid as normal. Said the roads to it are dangerous enough when dry, he doesn’t want anyone hurt or killed before Christmas cause of snow

Just climbed off the tractor, my guts are shook loose. I am following Craig’s advice and simply stopping at five every day period. I got way more than I can accomplish in a day every day. I built a ramp today so my Dad can access the house, his knees won’t let him make the first step As I have not back filled yet. Then pushed over a bunch of trees with bucket and drug them out with chain. Long day but area looks much better. Hoping for some snow at some point this Winter and I will have one serious burn pile going!

Just woke up here in Saigon. It's 5:39 a.m. getting ready to head to the American embassy in Saigon for the all important interview. They say that they tell you then and there if you pass or fail. We will see. I get to go into the interview with her in case there's some issues that I can solve. Wish us good luck.

Changed the starter. Found an engine to trans bolt not tight.
But hte problem must be in the solenoid or the wiring. I could here the solenoid click and voltage showed up on the starter terminal but maybe a lot of resistance. Just guessing.

Cleaned the terminals and got it running but don't trust the wires or the solenoid. Took it to the heated garage and traded it for the Barracuda. Deal with it next week. I did find a spare solenoid at the garage so that's good. Made in Tiawan - bought 5 years ago.,

Traded back to the Heep this afternoon.

Turns out I've kept using the solenoid that was there - made in the USA.
The winding from the start terminal to NSS measured 19 ohms. The new ones measured 3 ohms. H'mmm.

Noticed the new chinesium ones don't have cad plating and use coarse threads.

Transfered the tabs over after cleaning with a fiberglass 'pen' and some De-oxit.

Those pens are great.
