Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning all.
Back reading it looks like most of you are getting bad weather and sorry to hear that. Not bad here yet, cold and windy but not much new snow.
Us too. We only got 3" of snow so not much blowing around with the 30 mph wind we have.

It’s a tad chilly this am. It reached 47 yesterday at noon.

We went up one degree, now we are the same as you...

Hey @toolmanmike.

The local sports radio here just played a clip of Mark Woodley from KWWL in Waterloo standing out in the storm during the morning show.... hilarious.

Why does every station tell their reporters to stand in the extreme weather??? :realcrazy:

Yeah, we know it's bad... Why do you have to subject your workers to it to prove it to us... :wtf:

The worst airport I was ever stuck in was Halifax, NS actually. When they finally plowed out the runway there were snow walls at least 12' high on either side. No wonder C-130's dont have to many passenger windows. That was a crazy take off the plane had mybe 3 feet of clearane between yhe wingtip and the snow wall.

Nice!! I’m up to -4, I hit the laser thermometer on the grain bin, surface facing northwest, -37. Surface on the opposite side, -23

Even in my arctic gear, I’m warm but it hurts to breathe. Especially in the wind. Feels like I’m having an Asthma attack at times.

Granddaughter who is only two, is in emergency surgery for her beak this morning after a grudge match with the fire place yesterday. Fireplace one babies nose zero. We are stuck on the hill and cannot go to support, arghh! They have to put her out to stitch it up. Since it is a facial wound of significance and on a young lady they are being super careful to reduce scarring. When that kid crashes she does a good job! The fireplace is fine however.

I hope she's ok...

Good thing about kids, an ice cream cone will go a long way to cheer them up...

About to go outside and take pictures, it looks slick out there, if I fall down in the right place I will go for a ride all the way to the road.

Sounds like the Swallow Cliff sledding hill near me... They took out the old toboggan slides and now let the kids sled down the bottom half of the hill...

Here's what it used to be like... 124 steps to the top...

Maybe I just save that as a throw down card someday??? Well Jodi John said...:rofl:
Just kidding we get together and I swear they don't believe much of what we say.
I don't understand why??

Because men are good at exaggerating things... Like how big the fish was that we caught and how long our penises are...

They are used to our lies... :mob:

HAY !! I have been there if it 60 miles west of Chicago

It's less than two miles from where I live now...

There was a ski jump there back in the 1920's where they used to train athletes for world competition ski jumping... Then they build the toboggan sleds near it...
