Stop in for a cup of coffee

Granddaughter who is only two, is in emergency surgery for her beak this morning after a grudge match with the fire place yesterday. Fireplace one babies nose zero. We are stuck on the hill and cannot go to support, arghh! They have to put her out to stitch it up. Since it is a facial wound of significance and on a young lady they are being super careful to reduce scarring. When that kid crashes she does a good job! The fireplace is fine however.
John, man I didn't see this post , I pray all goes well and the doctor on call will stitch her up real good, no scars, during healing time at home, vitamin e will keep scars down, stick pen in vitamin e and apply some as soon as the doctor lets you. I know she must be a tuff one. Streagth and healing be with her
need ya a set of studded tires.

Pound some nails through the inside of your boots
Hay, that would work

Prayers out for the little one and the docs in attendance.

That traffic is crazy... Someone is going to get in an accident... :realcrazy:

The beauty of Asian driving is that the entirety of the population operates on the same "no-rules do whatever" set of rules and there are few accidents.

Mideast is similar. Walking in Cairo my local interpreter told me not to run across the busy roads when crossing "You will throw the drivers off and might get hit....just walk normally"

It was unnerving, but it worked.

Here in Chicago if there were no traffic lights to control the traffic, there would be piles of motorists in the intersections from everyone trying to take the right of way...

I had a ***** hit me this week because she tried to jump the line in traffic for the freeway in front of me and I didn't let her in... She slowly crept into me and hit her fender on my left mirror... :realcrazy:

I had right of way and would not give her an opening to cut in front of me...

Here's the damage to her Jeep... I barely got a scratch on my mirror...

Hahah... They have those STUPID signs here that state "Form Single Line"... Yeah, that's throwing down the gauntlet of aggression and buffoonery ensues.

Wow bad day to fly tons of delays. Sucks getting stuck at the airport. Done it twice.

Yesterday by just after lunch time Midway airport had cancelled 46% of their flights and O'Hare had cancelled 23% because of the weather, 750 flights combined had been cancelled...

O'Hare is much better prepared to de-ice the planes than Midway and had not had to cancel as many as Midway...
