The higher the number the more closed the aperture is. It let's in less light like the pupils in your eye when you go out in bright sun. Taking pictures in low light without a flash? Open the aperture up to let more light in.

Now the f stop can do some fun stuff with depth of field. (what is in focus and what is not) I like messing with the aperture and the shutter speed so that the foreground is in focus and the background is out of focus.

May want to stay in the flat lands of SoCal this weekend. Snow level is like 2500'. Traveling to and from Vegas might get real interesting. Might even see some of the white stuff on the nearby hilltops :D
 
So!!! got the canopy frame all except painting it done. And the blue tarp you see is just a fit and form tarp I'll use canvas and definitely not blue.
Foolds up nicely and is a one man set up in about 15 minutes.

Was in the fire department years ago and went and put out a garage fire and 2 mag. wheels were burning still after the fire was out. Oh what fun watching them burn after I figured out spraying water on them didn't help.

TriX 400 and push the heck out of it in the dark room!
That was pretty much SOP when I was playing jr/sr/ news photographer and editor. Fun times.

Under expose and over develop? If I remember right. I needed to hang out in the darkroom more. I couldn't get out of class! :BangHead: :BangHead: :lol:

Changed the starter. Found an engine to trans bolt not tight.
But hte problem must be in the solenoid or the wiring. I could here the solenoid click and voltage showed up on the starter terminal but maybe a lot of resistance. Just guessing.

Cleaned the terminals and got it running but don't trust the wires or the solenoid. Took it to the heated garage and traded it for the Barracuda. Deal with it next week. I did find a spare solenoid at the garage so that's good. Made in Tiawan - bought 5 years ago.,

Well that didn't last long.
I got to the tire place and the jeep wouldn't shut off.
At first figured - starter switch.
Then thought - h'm what has been changed recently?

When I got the jeep back my garage, checked the voltage on the ignition start connection and it was at system voltage. Internal short.
Going to drill the rivets off to look inside this evening.

Drove the Barracuda home - of course.

Geez you think I remember? LOL! Darkroom was right under the pub. :)
Yes I think that must be right. Over expose and then leave it in the developer and it works like 800 or higher film.
The downside was it could get real grainy.
For newsprint we wanted as much contrast as possible.
 
Mike I got a Mac TL 90 digital timing light along with some other stuff, where can I find a manual for it?

Put it on the tester and the advance is not moving the way I THINK IT SHOULD WORK.
