Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning everyone. Cooling off and windy. Supposed to snow today. Somewhere between 1-8" they don't know. Hopefully none!

I don’t drink alcohol anywhere near what I did when I was younger heck what I did a few years ago and I don’t miss it at all.

Good morning... 6:40 and shopping for the week is done.. i love that most of the world wake up late.. no one around when i do my things :)
 
Got home last night and painted the inside of the passenger quarter (after corroseal) and pulled the drivers side regulator out... always a fun time :)

When i did my passenger side one, i pulled the window crank and was like wow that was nice.. why did they change this clip setup to a screw! Then on the drivers one.. OMG WTF! I spent like 5 minutes fighting with it, stabbed myself with a screwdriver bad enough to draw blood and am shocked i didn't break the plastic ring behind it... So yeah, i get why they changed it :)
 
Dang snow. I haven't looked outside but the radar doesn't look promising from here.

Just got back from a long day on the road to Saigon and back home. Took Maman to the hospital to get checked out. While they were doing that I went over to the cosmetic dentist to have my new porcelain veneer teeth polished and a minor adjustment. Then went to the Western food supermarket. Bought 10 more Australian Angus beef burgers. Three packs of bacon. Some Johnsonville sausages. Some American sliced cheese. And some hamburger buns. Oh and a bag of spicy Doritos. Lol

You do know there's a special tool for that, right??? GM and Ford used those clips for eons.

well yeah.. but i don't have the special tool.. but i do have screw drivers :) And i thought GM used the C-Clip type which is way different..

Yeah I have a 65 belvedere two-door sedan at home. I'm sure it has the same clips as your 63 or is yours a 62?. I'm a long ways away from taking the doors apart on that car.

yeah 62.. they weren't that bad to take off next time i will use a knife instead of screwdriver though.. they are different than jesus clips.. Not sure what year they changed to the bolt through the middle though..

This is the tool. and looking at i think i was pushing the clip the wrong way making it hold on better :) lesson learned

P.S. yup.. i was pushing the clip towards the handle.. supposed to push away.. thus the fighting and self stabbing :)

Yep, I have the door window crank handle tool.
But I also have thunder and lightning here this morning, tornado watch, as I drink my coffee this morning.
Thursday is here, I guess I need two cups :lol:

Yeah, windy and freezing rain/ice starting here 1 hour before i leave work.. perfect! :)
 
80° here at 7:39 p.m. . Plenty of stars in the sky. Should be a nice day tomorrow also.

I went for a long putt. It was a glorious day. I had to clear my head after working with my Father all morning. He is well on his way to dementia or Alzheimer’s depends on how you define. Was giving me directions to Home Depot which is about a mile from his house and got all tangled up. Then got to service desk and he could not remember his wife’s phone number for order reference, and he had forgotten his phone at home. It is very hard to go thru as I had to do the same with my grandfather. Brings back a lot of memories. I just look at each day I have left with him as a blessing. Very soon I will likely long to share time with him regardless of his condition.
