Stop in for a cup of coffee

Think I'm going to quit taking any work at all for a month or so when he's done. Need/want time to work on my own stuff. I'm Waaay behind where I thought I'd be on my Hot Rods.

hey Mitch - when installing torsion bars, is it necessary that the slot on the back of the bar be straight up and down?

so - sound deadener between the pan and the intake.. what do you use?
He brought me some 3/4 in under hood deadener. Also used in Generator boxes and the like. Adhesive backed. Looks like I can slid it right in there from the back of the motor, but I don't think I'll pull the backing. It'll get stuck on the way in. Fit snug under there anyhow. Aint goin nowhere.

Nah, doesn't matter, but I'm anal and do make them both symmetrical, whichever way I put one. I usually try to make the lines as close as horizontal as possible, so it's easier to read the numbers.

huh - I wouldn't have thought it would stand up to direct contact with the engine..

Waitin for my framin guy to stop by and lay out and material list for the 18x32 lean too.

Still have to pull his driver seat and fix the slide frame, mount an extinguisher , add some tow hooks , fix one side rear parking brake and weld in some lower A arm bracket stiffeners.

none of it too bad - those stiffeners should be fun - will you have to take the arms off or can it be on the car?

Can do it on car. I already fabbed the gussets for it. I like to Weld. ( Think Rani )

I put seats in the Scamp last year - both on slider where the ones that were in there were static mounted... pretty much a PITA but worth it in the long run.. hard plastic race seats compared to cushy bucket seats... no brainer

Yeah, Ya never know if Wifey want to drive the car !

Looks like you had a nice view for your run! Some day I intend to visit your area.

You are most welcome! Bring some of that pecan whisky.

Kinda looks like the Vienna Woods !

It does, doesn't it!

Nice view!

This is my favorite time of the year. Bright green, tons of flowers and there is still not enough leaves on the trees to block the view so you can see in between the trees. In a few weeks, it'll all just be a green wall.

Went to a little cruise-in a few km away. Met up with user Djakken and a couple of other mopar guys I'd never met before. A little collection of old american iron. A few mopars and a couple of 'vettes, an old Ford street rod with a corvette engine, a '71 Camaro a very nice mid 80:s Volvo 244.

Some others too.

Had a coffee and a little chat and got some advice on my build. One of the guys who was there is the nestor of mopars in Sweden. Well, not counting 65dartcharger, of course ...

Only took pictures of the mopars. :D
