Ahh.. i understand the dual point thing.. for some reason my brain read it as you had dual point caps for sale... i was trying to figure why a cap would be different.. my brain is a messA bit more dwell time is all so the coil charges up a bit more. I can make a single point do the same performance for 1/3 the price. Mostly from my experience for judged cars or to finish the look. Problem with them people have been in them and alot of times the wrong parts inside them. Never know until I check the internals.
well now i knowDiffent they are the way they clock.
Hoppy I've been so busy and dizzy the last few months ago I haven't had time to fart. You ever call Dillon on that one?
Be careful when you fart buddy!Hoppy I've been so busy and dizzy the last few months ago I haven't had time to fart.
Are there Prestolite single points? Do they use the same dual point cap? Were the aluminum single points Mopar made?
I have a picture somewhere of someone sitting on the shinny one.Yep I have one shiny one and one not shiny.I like to lean up against my 66 at car shows with a beer in my hand. "I bet you can't do this with yours" !!!

People suck. Unless they are paying for it, their opinions don't matter.I have read through too many posts where people are just asses. Can hear it now! You are using what suspension? No way come on. You are destroying a Charger. You should this....You should that....Put an LS in it right away....Leave it shitty looking? You should.....
I mean really, if you don't like the build, don't read it or ignore it. But some people are drawn to just belittle others because they feel a certain way or disagree. I will just share pics along the way or when done. And some here will likely see it one day
Yes!I have a picture somewhere of someone sitting on the shinny one.
Yes they made single mostly for canadian cars and alot of 50's straight sixes. caps and rotor can be either or totally different.. The aluminum were as far as I know mopar made but in the electronic the pickups and reluctors were made by prestolight for sure. I got half a case of them in a prestolight box with a mopar label on it. prestolight made alot of stuff for Mopar. Wipermotors, fans, starters, door locks. Usually has the mopar number and a prestolight number also on them. My books for that stuff is prestoligt numbers. Not sure of alternators but some generators for sure. Are there Prestolite single points? Do they use the same dual point cap? Were the aluminum single points Mopar made?
I don't think I have anyone on ignore. Scroll works fine. I have put a few on 'hide' in FB. Somehow they know what you don't like and put extra in your newsfeed. LOL.Yup. I've only got 2 on Ignore and neither of them bring any value to the site. Puzzling
