Nope. That’s the pitman arm and tie Rod. Brand new, well in December so like 2500 miles on it , the stud is hitting the under side of the frame at 3/4 left turn. So tomorrow, gonna take the cut off wheel and cut that stud down a bit and see if the random bump steer goes away

I think he was testing the hardness of the ground with his head.
I'm waiting for my entire suspension kit to come in, includes a pitman arm that's not so dropped (going from 6" springs to 2.5"). I'll likely have to get a new drop receiver for my hitch as well.

Skyjacker says I don’t need a drop arm but it looks like I do.
I think any lift (suspension) changes your geometry, I'd be surprised if you didn't need one, bumpsteer is a sign. I suppose checking alignment with good equipment would tell you.

I had it professionally aligned.. twice. They claim it’s all in spec . Two different local shops. I need to drive it to the dedicated Jeep shop up in Indy, they’re 200 bucks for an alignment and 6 weeks out scheduling but it’s their specialty.

Skyjacker uses shims and adjustable components to supposedly eliminate the need for the pitman arm but that’s proving to be incorrect on mine.

Weather has been good Vero Beach my favorite has been 10 degrees warmer all week.
Panama City Beach is a nice place but don't think I'd stay here again.
