Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning, folks!

Tomorrow is a red letter day in Sweden. How about you?

And I just cc:ed my engine! Calculations to be presented soon!

hint:
Head combustion chamber volume: 70 cc
Gasket hole diam: 104.6 mm
Gasket thickness (measures) 1.06-0.96 mm depending on clamping force.
Cylinder diameter: 102.3 mm
Cylinder cc with piston 2 mm down in the hole: 23 cc.

Now you beat me to it! :D

You gone to bed, memike?

Very good morning to you, DieWilde13! I haven't seen you here before. Did I just happen to miss it or are you joining us just now?

Oh no, i´m here since 2007!
I don´t post that much these days... I think its the first time that i post in the Coffeethread.
Will post more when i´m done with my valiant, or maybe earlyer.
I just convert it to a BB 4-speed right now.

There is just a small time difference here :)

Took me 30 minutes and 3 cups to get caught up. My last warehouse guy quit yesterday so I'm the one man show now. And right at the beginning of planting season. Gonna be a rough month or two..

Morning, Ben!

You all ready?

I get 9.8:1 compression. If I go worst case and best case on my measurement tolerances, I'm somewhere between 9.67:1 and 10.03:1.

That's not so bad, is it?

No, thats actually pretty good. Better for pump gas , less chance of detonation. My GTS 383 is 9.75:1

Thanks Mitch!

I talked to this racer here in Sweden the other day and he said that with our 95 octane gas you don't want to go over 10:1. Looks like I'm spot on! I don't need to change a thing!

Now what kind of power should I be making with my 238*@0.050/0.474"/110*LSA Purple Shaft?

I have no idea how it's installed.

Wow...I've lost all faith in the human races future..

Just came home from the polls.....where the lady in front of me had to have it explained to her she didn't need to pay to vote.

Thanks Mitch!

Gonna need way more information, engine bore, stroke, intake, carb, heads, exhaust?

What? You don't have my specs memorized? Sheesch.

360 0.030 over
normal stroke
LD4B intake
Carter AFB 750 carb
stock 360 heads (1.88/1.60 valves, no porting, I'm told they flow like J heads)
and to top it off stock 273 exhaust manifolds ...

I'll be doing something about headers. Not sure what yet. Let's pretend I have long tube headers.
