BTW.. Since it's the Ides i figure i will put up on of my favorite movie scenes ever :)

Morning chatty Cathy's in here this morning...:D Nothing worthwhile to report but that's how it is on a family get away.
Looks like another cooler day but sure the kids will venture out to the water after lunch.
First group leaves tomorrow afternoon. They have a wedding to attend Saturday back home.
My plan is to head out 0 dark thirty Sunday morning and drive straight home. (15 hours)
A discussion is taking place to have breakfast with the kids living here and spend a night on the road.
I figured it's worth a shot. :BangHead:

I dropped this over in Random Pictures thread... but thought you guys would enjoy it... ingenious.

Well when ya only got a hound for a helper you have to be creative. I got the lift unloaded and in shop. Likely won’t erect for a couple of days due to house construction push.

Guess that means it showed up. What happened to staying around to install it?
Just lurking thru this morning.
BRT hearing for me this morning.

The Max Wedges used a very similar ignition system. We all knew an old guy in Macon with a pretty big Mopar collection that included some Max Wedge and Hemi cars. He even had a Superbird and Daytona. The Max Wedges and earlier Hemi cars had those types of ignitions on them. He lost all but ONE CAR to a huge house fire. It was really sad. I was still in grammar school when that happened. I would sometimes go home with a friend who lived like three houses down and the guy loved for us to come by so he could show us all his cars. It was a pretty sad day when that happened.

It was top notch in the day. Just a CDI system. That one is for the superstock cars pre 65. I have had them a few times. Hard to find a buyer and not cheap. I actually have the procedure for testing them also. The dist is special short small points, no condenser. Thats a grand. Tops on the "kit" is say 2500 on a great day. I have one now been looking for the right dist for it for a while to make it a kit.

Did you see the video series on the restoration of that wing car that guy trashed in the hurricane? Just saw it pop up... guess they just finished dipping the body

They will slap knock your dick in the dirt. I know from first hand experience.

Oh yes they will. Ever get bit from a transistor on a ecu? That smarts also. Usually from a weak case ground.

Rob ever look in that odd ignitions thread I did? Some quack stuff on there for sure.
