Good Morning All! Wind and rain to be here early morning. Yesterday my tree guy came out and dropped two big Hemlocks right by the house, will post pics, woodpeckers were getting one of them, very methodical. Will spend the day cleaning up the mess.

Morning guys looks like it's 13 above and sunny.
Might do something today or maybe not do a thing.

This world really is f'd if this is the closest thing to sanity we have left. :realcrazy:
Good Morning!
Reality is…. It is totally f’d up. The world that is.

But in this thread, the finest group of folks in the world are combined. So there’s hope.

Until you see a very very slow drip on a screw in fitting after all is complete, yep, got to go buy a couple fitting this morning, I could have swarn I bottomed out that one :BangHead: .
Good morning Icetech
Never ending projects...Another big delay on painting again yesterday. Thought I would do a few last touchups on wals behind toilet. Pulled the little plate around the tank supply out from the wall and saw more black. F'n mold all inside around it and along the bottom into the corner. Pluss decided to get rid of the in'wall paper holder. Easier to just do a couple big patches than 4 small ones. So... Cut out and bleached yesterday. Go put it back together shortly - after coffee.

Sounds like you're doing it right, hate plumbing so don't envy you!

Actually, thats one part I am planning to shortcut. What I should do, is undo all three water lines to put drywall up with just a small hole. I need to look close at the one for toilet yet. But if it's not corroded, I'm going to oversize the holes and patch fill the drywall to avoid some plumbing. I did get a Fernco to cut down and piece in the drain for the sink so I don't need a huge cut in back of vanity.

Here's those two hemlock trees, both had some rot so had to go, one dumping needles/cones/branches on the house both fall hazards to the house.

Seems like old man winter doesn't want to give up this year
Oh, he's near done here. Nights still getting a bit cold. But.I already ran the mower on one area. Gonna need a full cut very soon. Everything is greened up and looking a bit shabby, Onion grass all over the place... A bit more rain late tomorrow with warm temps is gonna push it into full growth. Looks like a few more 70's Mon-Wed

Weather has been pretty average here, chilly and some mild days.
Peas just making themselves visible.
Warm rain tonight-tommorrow so will plants some greens and see if they germinate

We had sheets of rain last night for hours. It got so windy I gave up on tractor work. On bright side all of my efforts to direct the drainage is paying off. Has only taken me two years to figure it all out. I go out in the monsoons every time, sit in my truck, windshield wipers on high and study how the water rolls off the mountain.

Interesting you guys out east are about the same latitude as I am but your weather is milder.

Last time I did repairs like this when I replaced the sheetrock and I put an access panel on the wall.

We had the wind yesterday and again today. We just missed out on the rain and we need some.

Went to the candidates night at the local Ward Committee. I missed the first couple including a challenger for Sherrif. Our current Sherrif is practically a criminal - certainly people working for her are (and have been charged). The candidates I did see were enthusiastic but either didn't know stuff they should have (including a current office holder), were out of touch, or I totally disagree with their views. Glad I went. A lot better than only going off the flyers and what makes into the press.
