Waiting for tractor/chainsaw hour, 0630 here so a little too early yet lol! Not eating a dang thing today, going to steak dinner tonight, taking daughter, hoping son can join us.

Go into your phone settingsI’m deliberately ignoring the news and other social media sites for a while.
Really wish I knew how to turn off the Apple News alerts but Google hasn’t helped. They still push the “big news” headlines to my phone.
Morning, first cup and not looking forward to today's weather, did all the preparation and some yard work in the garden yesterday. Completed double sink . I hope the second cup gets me feeling better... we will see

Did you bring lots of treats for the girls? My kids love that sort of stuff. We had sheets of rain last night for hours. It got so windy I gave up on tractor work. On bright side all of my efforts to direct the drainage is paying off. Has only taken me two years to figure it all out. I go out in the monsoons every time, sit in my truck, windshield wipers on high and study how the water rolls off the mountain.
FixedMuch better to hear their bull crap in person
Really only been here going on 3 days. Been so busy organizing things in my house for her and the daughter and catching up all of my mail and whatnot. She did mention that she sees things completely different in America on our drive home from the airport. Will get out in the next couple of days to show her around. There are no Vietnamese communities very close to me. And I'm good with that. I would rather she learn English than speak Vietnamese with other locals here.Yo @MOPARMITCH how is Chin doing in the big ole USA? Have you taken her out and about yet? Pix as always are required! This adventure may force her to learn more English? Is there a large VN community close to you she can tap into?
Yep!Did you bring lots of treats for the girls? My kids love that sort of stuff.
If I could have found 15 inch 4 inch Cragars I would be running 15'sNot a great deal really.... contemplating 15" tires.

Well, I spent a small fortune on 273 valve covers, there was NO way they were not getting used!!hadn't thought of that... i saw summit has some edelbrock covers for like $80 not sure if they clear or not though
I'm just curious.. what makes them special that you would spend a ton on them? I mean.. i have some 1985 318 valve covers that will blow your mind for a good price if you likeWell, I spent a small fortune on 273 valve covers, there was NO way they were not getting used!!

No problem, i just honestly didn't know if 273 covers had something special about them is all Like a commando exhaust is specialWell, now that you ask, Mike had a nice set of 273 valve covers that he donated to one of our fund raiser auction, and I paid a good price for them, it was a donation to a good cause. And in the same aution, there was a gift cert. for a certain Powder coater, which was donated. I paid over the value of the Cert, it was a donation for a good cause. Well, off they went to get powder coated, AND I will say now, the job is excellent, BUT I thought and think the cost to do that was over what it should have been. Several hundred over the gift cert. NOW for the record, This person does Excellent work. Second to none. AND they are real good people. They can charge what they think there art is worth. OK with all that.....
