What’d you end up getting
Went with the MS362, had a 25 inch bar on it so will stick with that unless I don't like it then put on a 20 inch.

61cc . Should run that 25 inches just fine.

Chain wise, Oregon chains are really good and affordable. Full chisel, semi, rip, skip, they make it all.
I agree it will, I'll see if I don't mind wrestling around that longer bar. Some say it's easier because you're not bending down as much, we'll see. Today I'm picking up fairly big logs with grapple and buzzing off rounds, will take longer but hey I'm lazy lol!

Stihl chain is by far a better chain. Oregon isnt as hard, sharpens easy but dulls fast. And its best to buy the stihl files, they seem to last the longest.

Get you a log roller. They’re about 80 bucks, but you can roll the log up on it, holds it about a foot off the ground and really helps your back.

When we did a big cleanup here, buddys excavator had a thumb with the bucket, hold tree over dump trailer to limb, then swing over and block onto the pile. Made light work.
Grapple makes that work manageable too.

Agree to disagree. My Stihl chains last half as long as my Oregons. And cost 3 times as much. Course I only run rip chains and full chisel chains.

I do have a Stihl brand bench mount chain sharpener that’s about 35 years old or so, it’s pretty good.

Archer chains are pretty good too. They’re Australian made and I only have one but it seems to hold well.

I love Stihl saws, especially the older D series which are nearly indestructible but I’ve not had good luck with their chains

I run both bars and chains. Like buying Oregon cause when I stick my saw in a tree felling it and I bend the bar much cheaper to replace : )

Speaking of saws I picked up this hand held Stihl for small jobs. Battery powered works well cut 4-6” limbs no problems. Doesn’t have an internal oiler so use the oil shown here a couple drops occasionally.

I'm seeing more battery powered saws in Telecom, guys that aren't supposed to carry gas on their rigs but need to access mountain sites. Spendy but if you use it makes sense.
