Holly Molly!! Thats plum crazy! I do believe my dual master cylinder i put on Victoria 16 years ago is from a 69 charger drum drum .. I paid 30 bucks for it, its on the shelf
I agree, but it's the price you pay for an original part when you're restoring a car to the original look $$
Or when you get tired of looking for the correct part for the brake system.
Admittedly I paid 200 not 300. Still pretty $$$ for a master.
It's what happens whne old parts get tossed and there are no new castings being made.
Cheaper to sleeve if you have the casting

Well, the 454 is in the engine bay. 4 bolts holding it in. So far so good. Drop in headers and starter next i guess. No, finish bellhousing bolts first.

I got mine for $200 and will try and sell it at Carlisle for $200.
I'm not going to pinch the guy trying to restore a car I know how expensive it gets.

Well it is official I am smarter than I look! The installers broke one of the granite countertops for the guest bathroom! I am so glad it was not me! I would have heard about it for the next ten years! The piece has his and her sinks and it cracked all the way across on edge of one of the sink cutouts When they set it down!

Yes sir you are one smart dude ! That reminds me of a friend of mine ,used one piece granite for each wall when he cut out the hole for the taps and shower , he measured from the front instead of the back , he cut the holes out put up the granite the holes were off. Man was his wife pissed.

Funny ya mention that. On the second guest bathroom they did not measure faucets correctly then did not double check and proceeded to drill the holes incorrectly. So that piece goes back as well to be replaced. My next call is to the office so that I can request a different crew for the kitchen pieces. They are special ordered from Brazil and no chance to simply replace them. Arghh. Not my best day.

Afternoon guys been in court with my son half the day and after 15 months still no final trial for my boy. Long story short courts suck.
Car show in Minot tomorrow I am going it's 100 mile drive there and that should be a good trip to tell me if thje scamp is ready to make the trip to Pittsburgh the end of this month.

Well, stupid is as stupid does. I was sure i took the headers out before i pulled engine. Nope. Got left side in and right side wont go in with starter in the way. Will do-over tomorrow.
On another note, my youtube buddy Brent at HalfAssKustoms lost his shop to a fire. Huge loss. All of his tools and 2 or 3 cars plus parts and supplies all gone.
