Stop in for a cup of coffee

I thought about it. Old eyes and the dark are not a good combo.
Plus I wanted to cut back on the pain meds.
I would rather hurt a little more then be in a fog.

I would love to go but way to many down days lately and have a hell of a lot of stuff to do around here. Wife has been down hard also the last few weeks.
If I find any Dizzys or parts I'll call you first before I grab them.

It would have been good for me too.

But I need to get things cleaned up here even more.
Cluttered place clutters my head.
And now it looks like I'll be away a lot so can't kick it down the road anymore.
Did you see the garage pick I posted yesterday Lol.

So in the mail yesterday I got a chrome ECU to test for a guy in Canada, it is chrome with the special heat sink that is blue. Wow super rare Nascar only. Glad it tested good for the guy, I am re potting the back also. Have to grab a pic of it in a bit, you will never see one again.

I did !
That's pretty cool.
I *might* be able to deal with that for storage.
When its the house and work spaces my brain starts to explode (or my temper!)

Thanks also looking for 2095501 OEM ballasts. They are not cheap 20 and under is fine.

Yes... out the door here in about 2 minutes
Has a great rep. for a lot of very well set up (modified) slant six cars there. Lou Masden drove one his to Calif for the Willow Springs track day. I flew out! LOL

Hey Ray I'm running a chrome box.

On the street make sure your ballast is at least.8 ohms, the .25 they recommend heats up the box fast and will burn it out. on the strip they cool off between runs, trade off with the rpm's really. What number you know? There are a few of them.

Good Morning All and thanks for the Birthday wishes/funnies yesterday. No problems with the computer here Ray.

That looks just like my book right down to underlining the Acel super coil!

I did not change the ballast resistor.
Maybe I should have.

They are from you. He has the 279 one. Get a pic if I get motivated. Your running a .25 ohm and it still runs?

They are really overkill for the street. Guys assholes pucker up when they get them. The higher the ballast the lower the RPM. A stock black or orange box is fine for most people. I have tested the crap out of them with different ballasts and coils. Tell you what I found these 55KV coils that are hard to beat.

They are from you.
I know. I was just trying to be funny.
I better not give up my day job. LOL

At the time I ran the factory ballast resistor for '67. What's that .7 Ohms?
With the big yellow Super Coil and the 4120889 box.
Did that for a year or so.
Came back from a trip to Bethleham and the coil was seeping out. Could smell the oil.

The best bang for the buck no matter what ignition you run is to get the curve to match the engine, seriously like adding a 50 shot of nitrous.
