It's Fairlane Friday!

Good morning :D

Just sprayed a few (hunderd) weeds. Maybe do some tilling next. Did a small part of the garden the other day. Not planting much, but need to do the whole thing so I can reseed grass in the rest of it. Also starting to knock down the mound around the tree I had cut. Need to figure out how to save the Trumpet vine next to the stump. That could be a couple year project as I want to remove the stump eventually. Also, Mae said she doesn't want to put as many flowers in the beds. So, might start downsizing them, so it s just grass to cut and less mulch area.

very little yard work to do around hear I keep it simple and clean because I'm not getting any younger. lol

Disc brake conversion kit just showed up, Fedex guy was not amused :) Piratejacks ships fast.

Still need to figure the right master cyl, and proportioning valve.... and order a suspension rebuild kit

Sounds like your going to be busy, could ya post some pictures when you get them on?
Will do... it will probably be a month or so though.. My sister might come over sunday to help me get the motor out (more just to call for help if i drop it on myself) when that's out i will be dropping the k-frame and suspension, not rushing though

Yeh, I keep trying to simplify to more riding mower and spray. Less manual labor.
That's why I sold my farm I couldn't keep up with the yard work after all the kids moved out.
Nice now I have about 150 x 150 lot to take care of and doesn't take long to mow.

Sounds good better to take the time and do a good job. Kinda rushed mine but was having such a good time I didn't want to stop.
Except the rewiring part that sucked.

Yeah.. i'm just doing like 1-2 things after work at night.. still trying to frigure how i will stop the door latch rod from rattling when i close the door, then windows go back in, that's this weekends plan.. Have to keep telling myself it's a long time project so i don't rush and half *** stuff.. i'm more of a 3/4 *** kinda person

Suspension rebuild kit is what I was referring to.

Red calipers. Fancy
oh.. no.. prolly drdiff, he does the one with the new upper A-arms... i just wish he had an option for the moog offset bushings.. Haven't priced out just ordering the parts from rock though... if it's a lot less i will just go with moog stuff from there and deal with the bushings (not press and not feeling like having a fight)

hope you get that latch rod figured out I'm the kinda guy that has to sit back and think about it with a cold beer. lol

Well off to the garage going to crank up some good music and detail the Scamp engine bay that I should have had done by now.

Yeah, i'm trying to make no clunks, passenger door which was rarely used closes like a new car, need to get the drives to that point now

I think they have a cloth covering over them from the factory.
yup, mine still has the covering but it sounds like a banjo string when i close the door... I might make a J-clip for it to ride in like later b-bodies have

Made some progress with the old dirt grinder. Then broke the handle off my rake. Gonna see if I can get one before work. Hopefully just a handle.
