Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm about out of F's for the week. Looking forward to getting at that engine. The balancer puller arrived so now I have a tool with which to create great destruction potentially.

I MIGHT get to the point of pulling the pistons to see more completely what I'm dealing with.

Don't know if I missed it. But how are the bearings?

All I've done so far is pull the heads. Haven't yet taken anything apart on the bottom end other than to drain and clean out the oil pan checking for debris. The pickup was super clean. I did look at the crank briefly.

Hopefully I'll get at there this weekend.

Engine bay cleaned and waxed and one coat of wax on the car so should be all clean by tomorrow so I can get it dirty again. :steering:Wax on Wax off.

Almost ready for the trip to Pittsburgh.

Well, i dunno. Start chevelle, it clatters like a clapped out ford diesel. Start it an hour later and its fine. Have a lifter or 2 bleeding down.

Got more stuff moved, ball joint replaced in the lincoln. Charlie is obsessed with finding a Fargo tailgate, thinks because i have 4 i will give him one. One on my truck i paid $400. Old crusty one is wall art and its staying put. Other one has grain chute, going onto the latest aquisition. Then the one on Ralph’s trailer. Its staying together.
I suggested he wait. Tailgate is the least of his problems. Wiring brakes, glass, finish assembling body panels. Tires might be nice too.
