Saw a couple in an ad, yesterday. 1 Sun... the other had a longer, teardrop case...

Should've bookmarked it... the Ad was titled "Stuff" so I'm never going to find it again

I actually think I have all the parts for it now, just seat covers and belting. That crap is not cheap. Did score a Carpet for a steal from Tamaraz a few years ago for 125 on sale. Can use a new windshield has a small amount of foging in a corner but refuse to get a new tinted one with the dot matrix pattern. Want the green tinted one like the factory. It will show up one day. Have to look at Klingers they had a few early A's there.
Probably a lot of back glass saved cause it was ‘special’ Nobody ever thought it would be tough to find a front. :BangHead:

Great Dr visits yesterday with primary and today with cardiology. BP good at both. EKG good today. Yet had worst leg cramps in a long time overnight. Probably a combo of a lot of outdoor legwork. Not enough hydration and too much salt yesterday…

Younger potassium. Eat bananas.

Well I did not really choose it. When I got out of the Marines my career planner essentially told me I had no real marketable skills and I only had two options, go to work for the Mob or get into LE. What I did have was a knack for coaching and teaching other shooters. So invariably I would build a range on our farm and somehow I always ended up with a bunch of folks traipsing out for “lessons” it was not official or anything remotely professional like we do now. I did not market or seek out the customers but I just could not say no when asked to help someone. (a curse) Long story short I began attending NRA instructors courses to legitimize if you will my credentials, frankly very few students care what you did, or what you were in the military years ago. You have to stay current. As I walked that path and got more elevated credential's there became fewer and fewer folks that could train and certify me. I continued to compete and won this and that, State Titles etc which in turn sent more folks my way. But in the end what I really liked is the teaching, taking a student that can’t get on paper to making “A“ box shots at two hundred yards gives me a feeling of satisfaction I cannot describe. Then fast forward a few years and these demented souls that do the active shooter events created a plethora of folks that desired the ability to defend themselves. When we started we never in our wildest dreams thought about teaching school and church security. Just a concept that is hard to wrap your head around. Now church and school security is a huge portion of our business, which to me is very sad. So there is the short version! Apologies for length of rambling but you did ask! Hah!
But, you are playing a big part in protecting the public, albeit indirectly. And my hat’s off for people willing to take the initiative.

Decided to get on the mower. Didnt help the sore back. Then, then, i dragged out the 3 point mower and battled to get it behind the new tractor. That machine is rough riding. Beat the crap outta me. So that wont be the mower tractor…

Hey guys

Thoughts... ridge reamer or honing tool to remove the lip in the cylinders of the 273?
If the ridge is not too bad, and if you were trying to save money on machine work. You could buy a ridge reamer. Which is a tool that sets up in the top of the bore and only cuts out the ridge. Then you can remove the Pistons safely, hone the cylinder bores and reused the pistons with new rings. Just a thought

Went back and looked... going this route. Ideally I'm reusing the existing pistons. Reamer came in today along with a couple different honing tools...
