Stop in for a cup of coffee

Alberta is dealing with lots of fires, and smoke is drifting east and then south. And its pretty thick. Its been so hazy the last couple days from smoke.
We are getting the haze and smoke here from up there.

I had that here yesterday afternoon. Neighbor kid and his Hindi friend came over to fish. Wife re named them Harold and Kumar! Pretty funny but true!

Nice.
Going to just enjoy it like that for a while?

Before getting antsy for more tuning, take it to a drag strip or dyno. IMOyou will have a good baseline for both street driving and give you some information about for maximum performance.

While a dyno cost more than a drag strip, its not more if you added the cost of a datalogger and all the time needed for learning, etc.
To make the chassis dyno worth it,
a) it has to have an WBO2 AFR sniffer. Whether its in the tailpipe or a bung isn't too important.
b) they have to provide you the log files and a way to read them.
Otherwise dragstrip is cheaper and often more fun.

Here's are some results from my previous 340.

Because of the way Dynojets are built, using speed instead of engine rpm reflects more directly the data collected and how it calculates power.

Anyway the reason for posting the screenshot is the AFR.
The first run was with the 76/80 main jets. The vacuum secondary opening is so rich it causes a dramatic drop in AFR and a blip in the HP curve.
This was not quite as obvious in real time because the scale wasn't expanded the way it is in the screen shot above.
The AFR on the other two runs is relatively flat. That suggests the jetting and main air bleeds have good relationship.
Thanks Matt. Yes I am going to get some street driving tine in. My friends shop, that did my lace paint, is having a party on Sat. All kinds of cars and hang out. They restore cars but all race gasses with The Brew City Gassers out of Milwaukee. Then next weekend a really nice local show. MITP is the weekend next. 5-6hr drive each way. That will tell me a bunch. Not sure where a dyno is around here, but there is a drag strip about an hour away. We will see about that.

Nice looking 65 on the market here. 318, auto... 27k

Morning checking in coffee in hand.
Sunny and 80 here today going to do some work down in the woods today clearing brush along the creek and around the trees.
I'll cut it down and hit it with some commercial grade roundup.
Buddy down the road is going to bring his tractor and brush hog over and do some clearing for me.
Another little project done by the end of the day.

Didn't MITP have a dyno set up you could run your car through?? Maybe I'm thinking Carlisle?? Somebody has one at the show.

MTIP had one at Farmington. I don't remember one at Clearwater. The Nats had one. We had one last year but I don't think that will happen this year. They wanted too much to show up.

They may, but that is a long ways away to break something. If I trailered the car maybe, but driving it makes me worry. Also, then there would be tons of people see me make 200hp

So get the parts in for the mower deck at JD. They called. OK get the deck off, chain it to the bucket forks lift it up pressure wash it life is good. Look it over really well notice one blade is a bit off. Check it out the spindle bearings are shot. On all three spindles. Never ends but better now than later in the year. Not cheap!

Is yours a 3 point finish mower or belly mower

Morning all y’all! Quick drive by for me I got to get sorted out and head to the range. Long day in the sun. But I will have a blast hanging out with one of @WV64Signet cronies And my buddy that just retired who was one of the marksmanship coaches for Army. It will be a day filled with nonsense, fellowship, bold faced lies and who knows maybe even some actual training and learning.

You left out the drinking later tonight...that should generate some lies and stories.
