Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thanks Chris. Yeah going to change things over to the new harness. I will probably wait until after the engine is back in for a cleaner install. Pretty simple with no extra junk to have to worry about connecting

I have some of the last parts coming today to be able to put all the new brake together.

I have not done drum brakes before, plenty of good YouTube videos

Yeah. I need to update to the V8 harness. Going with Year One bit a little annoyed with their discount/ free shipping shell game.

I also got new inner and outer wheel bearings and seals. I don’t have my FIL’s press here yet, so I will have Bobs do the inner’s and check the drums

Front? Just drive he races out they are made to do that. Clean out the grease you will see where the punch fits. Use brass tapping them back in. Super easy. If he is checking the drums on a brake lathe have him do it with the new races in that way it will be "true" to the new bearing. I know your OCD!!!!!!!

I keep seeing brake laths. I want one but why? I have acess to two of them to use any time. and no room here. Now someone with room gets a exhaust bender with all the old specification cards that tell you how much and where to bend the pipe to make the exhaust can make a killing on these old cars. My BIL has one with all the cards from I think 60-78ish. Used to use it. He is sick on the way out and still wont sell it. But you really need say a full car bay to use it in.

I think it's a man thing. I want one, too.
