@Mattax Just glanced through the emails. Definitely going to spend some time there. Lots of awesome info.

Morning fellow old farts, spent the day shopping, cleaning, and doing laundry, good times. Horses are fed and the dogs and I went for our walk. Coffee is hot.

All the sudden I could smell oats or feed, helps hearing about things I use to do for enjoyment and pleasure.

I did it, removed all the inner and outer wheel bearings and races in the front  I cleaned everything up and now I need to take the drums to get cut. After I get that done, I will install the new bearings and seals.

I really enjoy working on this car. I am learning A LOT! Thanks to all of you!!

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but I hope the brake drum lathe can chuck up the hubs with no bearings. You may want to ask them before you leave your shop.

Front? Just drive he races out they are made to do that. Clean out the grease you will see where the punch fits. Use brass tapping them back in. Super easy. If he is checking the drums on a brake lathe have him do it with the new races in that way it will be "true" to the new bearing. I know your OCD!!!!!!!
LOL

Bearing races are usually in to machine drums.

Went for physio. Acupuncture. I hate it, but think its a necessary evil. And hope the meds help. Physiothersapist figures it will help.
