Stop in for a cup of coffee

No idea how she did it with the kids. I was deplayed 7 years total. Mant things missed. Once it was so long I came back and the "reception" my daughter ran up to a fellow member and started crying I AM SO GLAD YOUR HOME DADDY! That one hurt.
And they really dont get any credit or real support. I liked the rescue unit in NY (106th). They had volunteers cutting the lawns, oil changes free at the motor pool, Etc. The family support group was outstanding. The rest of them egh.

We knew each other since I think 9th grade. were friends. I went in the USN and was on leave in 87 and ran into her and married four months later. she really went from ugly duckling to super-hot. Married in my dad's house by the mayor. Keg of beer catered, and the next day moved her and all her things to VA. Then a month later to Hawaii. Was a interesting first year.

Wow that's more than I was deployed in 24 years. You can't get any of that time back but I still don't regret it.

I know I have done great things and helped save alot of people. That really makes it worth it. Not like causing death, hell I know I did that when I was Navy Intel.
