Air force goes by skill levels, you get out of school your a 3 level, complete all you basic knoledge usually a few years go 5 level can go to e-5 then. another two years go 7 level then cn go to E-7, another 4 years you become a 9 level. Can go to E-9 I have a 9 level. But had to leave and switched fields 4 times. Hell i was a shop Chief as a E-5 and had E-7's working for me because I was a 14 on the civillian side which is equal to a light Col. Weird when deployed because the rules changed when I went under a different command. But they usually knew my technician status and treated me acordingly.

My last deployment Cheryl and I were deployed different locations at the same time tax free and benefits as LTC's plus I was also getting my monthly PD retirement check. We didn't have a mortgage (paid off) and socked a lot of $$ away.
 
Man I have a lot of meters and tach's coming today. Found a few Sun sets that I can make a bit on. I like those kits they are all you need and bulletproof.

yes it is nice. For me it was like 14 grand on a good one 7 on a bad one. threw a bunch of it into TSP on both side thankfully lived off it after I got sick for 5 years. I got screwed hard on that could not collect anything being undiagnosed. Crazy. Thank god I was smart enough to buy disability insurance. was cheap also paid 3K a month for 3 years. would have lost it all without it.

I find them have two done right now and one more on the way. I keep one for myself also. Cant beat them for our cars has all you really need for diagnosis and tune ups. I dont really ask much for them 200-250 depend on if it is like new or not and they are all calibrated.
 
Have a spot? or just the entrance pass? I kind of have two spots one is really Mitches which he slum lords to me and one behind a bit to park the truck and trailer on.
 
<~~~~ just had a twisted thought, this being Memorial Day Weekend and all. With the right variety of off road vehicle it would be a hoot to go watch the crazies at the Pismo Dunes :lol:

Should spend a night. If not raining a lounge chair is a great bed and plenty of awnings, we have usually. Some one might have a pass to bring the truck in and sleep in it if so inclined. I bring a tent but last year it was so much easier in a relining chair under the awning. Prob do that again
 
I was just going to ask how it works with having a spot……so you stay right there and can camp out or whatever? The spots are not very big are they?

“Company will pay up to 26 months (52 pay periods) military leave pay for Reservists and National Guard soldiers on state or federal military orders of all titles. Exception is members who enter a full time, none US titled position: EX: A member who takes a military rated technician position. Pay will be equal to 100 percent the service members full time pay based on 40 hours a week for hourly pay employees or the full time salary for salaries exempt, minus deductions. May be used in increments of 8 hours.”
 
10x30 Enough for a car and a few tables. I live close but stay just because there is no way I am leaving 50 K of stuff there every night. Area we are in everyone watches out for each other. One reason I am across from Mitch. I watch is if he has to go for a bit same he does for me. Have Billy this year so it is different, might get to look around for a change.
