Stop in for a cup of coffee

Never liked it. I will stick with Genny Blue. LOL doing a Carlisle pre order next week. Timmy's also. Will be on a pallet, seriously! Pretty funny. Hope the dakota will carry it if not Billys truck. Tim is bringing his trailer rv so no room.

Think today is finish the mower deck. Had to get some more lock nuts, then have 4 sun tachs to go through. More still on the way. Like them they go fast at Carlisle.

My wife was in for several years without a GB.
Oh good. That makes me feel better. I mean part of me wants them to medical retire me, part of my wants to see just how many years I can go yet

Even by the time you might have it out if needed then recovery time and then a MB you'd probably be at your 20-year mark. JMO.

Yeah but now I’m debating staying past the 20 and maybe going WO side. Don’t know yet. Just seems all too weird at the moment

Every point is $$ on the final average. And remember you get a raise every year.
One of the only part-time jobs that pays a retirement and health care.

Dam sure helping me out but I have a crapload of points. Kind of kick myself in the *** for switching career fields so much, kept me from advancing quickly. Air force goes by skill levels, you get out of school your a 3 level, complete all you basic knoledge usually a few years go 5 level can go to e-5 then. another two years go 7 level then cn go to E-7, another 4 years you become a 9 level. Can go to E-9 I have a 9 level. But had to leave and switched fields 4 times. Hell i was a shop Chief as a E-5 and had E-7's working for me because I was a 14 on the civillian side which is equal to a light Col. Weird when deployed because the rules changed when I went under a different command. But they usually knew my technician status and treated me acordingly.

Not allowed any more. They stopped that in 2016

I am thinking about trying to jump on some ADOS orders this fall. My current employer will pay me for 26 months full salary while on military orders.

Watch that if your ordered to do it is one thing if you volunteer different rules for the employer by law. Look into it see if it changed. Title 10 and 32 have two different rules.

If I learned anything being a shop chief is watch what you ask for you usually get it in mysterious ways. My guys loved me for sure.

One thing that was great being a technician on the civilian side we would get 30 days military leave, then Comp time which we got alot of, then the state usually threw in 15 more days civilian leave. Right there is 9 weeks of double dipping without comp time or civillian vacation days. Lots of double pay remember it was based on a work week civilian, and we did 9 hour days so every other week was a three-day weekend. Like two to three months usually double pay. Alot of money for sure on top of E-7, combat pay, food and housing allowance and tax-free military pay. Then depending how long we were on orders they would keep you on orders for leave when you got back and I always went back to work.
