My wife served even transferred from the guard to the reserves without a GB.Hey so I was looking at the army Regs, if my gall bladder is toast , it’s a service DQ, requires MedBoard within 8 months.
Oh good. That makes me feel better. I mean part of me wants them to medical retire me, part of my wants to see just how many years I can go yetMy wife was in for several years without a GB.
Same as The USAF. Hell I have seen them do the surgery overseas for free.My wife was in for several years without a GB.
Even by the time you might have it out if needed then recovery time and then a MB you'd probably be at your 20-year mark. JMO.Oh good. That makes me feel better. I mean part of me wants them to medical retire me, part of my wants to see just how many years I can go yet
Slow process for sure almost 2 years for mine.Even by the time you might have it out if needed then recovery time and then a MB you'd probably be at your 20-year mark. JMO.
Yeah but now I’m debating staying past the 20 and maybe going WO side. Don’t know yet. Just seems all too weird at the momentEven by the time you might have it out if needed then recovery time and then a MB you'd probably be at your 20-year mark. JMO.
Every point is $$ on the final average. And remember you get a raise every year.**** or get off the pot soldier! Biggest thing get as many points as you can. Lot of Bs courses give you points. Seriously look into it. Prob added a few hundred to my count. A few hours and 10 points I will take it.
Dam sure helping me out but I have a crapload of points. Kind of kick myself in the *** for switching career fields so much, kept me from advancing quickly. Air force goes by skill levels, you get out of school your a 3 level, complete all you basic knoledge usually a few years go 5 level can go to e-5 then. another two years go 7 level then cn go to E-7, another 4 years you become a 9 level. Can go to E-9 I have a 9 level. But had to leave and switched fields 4 times. Hell i was a shop Chief as a E-5 and had E-7's working for me because I was a 14 on the civillian side which is equal to a light Col. Weird when deployed because the rules changed when I went under a different command. But they usually knew my technician status and treated me acordingly.Every point is $$ on the final average. And remember you get a raise every year.
One of the only part-time jobs that pays a retirement and health care.
Not allowed any more. They stopped that in 2016**** or get off the pot soldier! Biggest thing get as many points as you can. Lot of Bs courses give you points. Seriously look into it. Prob added a few hundred to my count. A few hours and 10 points I will take it.
With the budget, no extra for usAnother thing if you can get as many drill days as you can, 2 points each and get paid also.
That sucks. Not allowed any more. They stopped that in 2016
Watch that if your ordered to do it is one thing if you volunteer different rules for the employer by law. Look into it see if it changed. Title 10 and 32 have two different rules.I am thinking about trying to jump on some ADOS orders this fall. My current employer will pay me for 26 months full salary while on military orders.
Switched 2 years ago to Mic UltraStores selling Bud Light for free as Mulvaney backlash continues
