Like e bodies 73 and 74 not as desirable. As 70 -72.
 
so many people assume that parts fit cars that they have no idea about ....this last weekend I went to a car show and there was a guy selling parts ....he has some "swinger" marked 67-76.

I tell him that swinger came out in 69, there is no such thing as a swinger in 67/8.

He looks at me like I am a weirdo.

then I go on to tell him that his emblems fit 70- 74 because 69 used a reflective decal.

he looks at me again like I am a weirdo, and says he has heard of swinger in 75 and 6

I respond that he is absolutely correct that swingers exist in 75 and 6 ...I HAVE A 75 SWINGER.

75 and 6 swinger used a "swinger" emblem that lacks the little flower. so the flower ones fit 70-74 only

I got the feeling he didn't like me very much but that is the kind of crap I am talking about...

Well I have to go my ride showed up early. Today my nut doc. Wants to hypnotize me and poke around my thoughts. Should be interesting.
 
Well, people in general tend to disapprove of random strangers walking up to them telling them they're wrong. Even if they are.

well, we were in a another topic before we got to the emblems and plus I bought a bunch of stuff so he cant complain too much LOL

I think the main reason they are cheaper is people don't want to bother with emissions stuff. Especially if it has to pass state inspection.
You are so right about them being different. I currently need driver door glass. Local yard had 6 early style, 0 of what I need.

I believe the 75 is going to be a "6 hole" glass.

you can interchange the later glass to an earlier car you cant go from an early to late because there wont be enough holes in the glass to mount to the regulator
 
So sick of rain. We've had 1 dry day in 9 so far and this week is all rain. My garden is dying from it.
 
Great news! Finally found someone who can media blast my junk (car parts, Ben, not private parts). I'll be heading up there right now.

My front suspension has a crappy paint job.
