Stop in for a cup of coffee

So there’s a liquor store here called Hildreths. My family has known the owners for decades and his youngest son and I have been friends since 7th grade. Got talking to the old man today after noticing stacks upon stacks of Budweiser products. I’ve seen the reports online about them sticking their nose into politics and what not but never gave it much thought. Anyway, Jon told me he went from selling an average of 2 cases of Bud light an hour to maybe selling 1 a day. It’s so bad, it’s on sale, 12.99 per case of 24 plus a 15 dollar manufacturer Rebate. Literally they can’t pay people to take it. Bud light used to be in every cooler on every hay baler in this county.
He did say that Coolers Gold and Heiniken have been the best sellers since.

Back from clothes shopping, hated every minute. Just grabbed up 4 shirts, asked wife to give them a sanity check, tried them on (my belly makes it where I have to), put one back so got 2, also pants and shorts at Costco. Best part of the day was wife driving the UTV and loving in THEN agreeing to let me upsize the engine (only 3 HP but when you start with 21.8....) Anyhoo, will see if the finance gods love me, good credit but bought a lot of crap lately.

Home with a 12-year-old Knob Creek and cubes in hand. :) Got a late start this morning she needed her sleep.
Made it out to the club and played 8 holes before we had to leave for the GD's softball game.
Weather was cloudy and cool, so we went back and played another 18...yes, we walk.
Anyway, I played really well shot two over for 26 holes. For the non-golfers that's a 24 out of 26.

Nice…

I’m on beer number 3…

The wife and I went over to Andy's house for a little garden and flower bed weeding. About an hour is enough of that. Why didn't I build some raised beds this spring like I had planned on. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: Sipping on a Evan Williams 1783 and some ginger ale. (I don't mix) Write that down in the record books.

News article said Bud sales dropped almost 25% within days of their incident.

Crazy awesome day!
Garage sale, bought 2 nice yamaha stereo recievers, tape deck, a clock, bag full of vise grips and a transfer punch set. $230.
Then drove 1.5 hours to the metalworking class. Mind oficially blown. I can shape sheet metal.

Not only shape it, but understand why it does what it does. $300 for the day, worth every penny imho.

Then bought the Mother Tucking shrinking hammer $200 and i got the shrinking stump to go with it.
I would do it again in a heartbeat!
all around an expensive day, but i think it was money well spent.

That is so cool Frank, I have always wanted to attend one of those classes. I am torn between that and a forging class. I am very seriously considering making myself a forge and learning how to blacksmith. I think I want to take a blacksmith beginner course somewhere somehow someday! Damascus steel intrigues me to no end. Most all my knives are Damascus, and while I understand the attributes and advantages of stainless Damascus just talks to me.

You need to paint that disc with your family crest and make a shield out of it and hang it in the shop!

You guys here are a certainly interesting bunch with an amazing knowledge base and experiences in many different aspects we discuss here daily. More importantly I appreciate the support and help we offer one another whenever and however we can...true friendship. Makes me proud to be a part.

Good Morning!!

And i want to do some aluminum and brass casting.

Karl and Brent signed it. But i made 2, will give it to a friend, let him air brush it.
Those guys have more talent in their little finger than I got in my whole arm! Mad skills right there for sure. No idea how they are in person but their “on air” personalities would lead you to believe they are just a couple of normal guys.

Morning!
Rain. Good day to spend in quonset. Still a little wound up from yesterday’s adventure.

I remember an online friend i met for the first time, think the word he used was “genuine”
That made a big impression on me.
