Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wow that took forever making sure the dist list I am brining is correct! Yesterday sucked. Mower threw the belt twice with my daughter, then the power went out in the shop, have to deal with that today, no it is not a breaker either! :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

Ok , now I am not gonna go so far as to say this is better than sex, but man it was good! Fresh jalapeño from garden, poached fresh eggs from neighbor lady, gnarly artisan whole grain bread! I got a happy tummy! And no I did not swipe the eggs! Poached in water ya criminals! And fried ham!

I wish. I am seriously pissed off with the mower after dropping 400 into the deck, worked great for me two mows. Tell you she is cursed every time!

Big goings on here today, I get to take grandson to store for his birthday. He needs a new pair of boots and a new straw hat! I am not sure which one of us is more excited, me or him! It will be a great day, plus a wrangled Jodi out of a new hat for me to wear at the boys wedding this Summer! Apparently all mine are unsat! Sweat stains and smelling like the underside of a saddle are show stoppers at a wedding it appears! Boots and spurs here we come!

How is your new daughter adjusting to the US? Is she starting to explore yet? It has got to be a bit overwhelming at first.
Chin will be coming to Carlisle with me on Wed. The daughter is staying here at my house with the baby ( boy ) now almost 3 months old. Daughter is going back to VN on the 17th so the Father can meet the baby. Chin is going with her to help the travel. Wife is coming back here after two weeks in VN. Daughter and baby will probably stay in VN for 6 months or more... A lot going on here....

Wow, lots of moving parts right there! Travel blessings upon thee!

The wife and I went over to Andy's house for a little garden and flower bed weeding.
Wish someone would come over to my place and weed!
And i want to do some aluminum and brass casting.
Not sure exactly what he did, but my Uncle Paul was in casting. Recall him showing me his scales (rulers) and explaining they were all 'wrong' size to measure molds so the end product would be the correct measure.
Yeah, And the weather looks Iffy for Carlisle.....
So, all normal then...

Good Morning

Busy day planned here as usual. Cheryl told me yesterday after the grand kids go home next weekend, we need to slow down...haha!!
Off for a little range practice this morning. GD has a tournament game at noon if the win play again at 1:30.
Florida grand kids are in town flew back with other Grandma and stayed the night at my daughter's. They will also be at the game and looking forward to seeing them. After the game the head out with their other Grandma for a few days at the ranch. We get them Tuesday and they fly home Saturday. Think we come home after the game and tend to the flowerbeds. They need some love.

I have a lot going on here as well. I will not be coming to Carlisle. My mother passed away Friday evening and now have a lot going on with family issues

Morning all. Packed the pickup and snowmobile trailer and went to a flea market yesterday. 95% vintage stuff including my Model T Schriners go-cart. Sold half of stuff and surprisingly the Model T. That little car attracted a lot of attention. The cost to sell was only $20.00

So sorry to hear that Tike. Prayers sent for you and your family.

It has really been busy this last week so I haven't been on for the last few days

Tuff day Tike, but very much understand the blessing portion of it. We lost Jodis uncle last week, he had suffered for a very long time but his body would not give up. We will pray for your strength during the chaos that inevitably follows a family event like that. Hopefully you have someone to help share the admin and logistics load.
