Killed em today running the trotline for the crabs. Caught two bushels in under 3 hours. A lot of really big ones, over 8 in wide tip to tip. There you go Karl..... The smaller ones are in the other bushel. But that one got filled up by the end of our runs. Two bushels and 3 hours is pretty good crabbing.

Those look great!!!

They would go great with fresh veggies from my local farm stand...

Kubota UTV purchase going kinda weird, upgraded model we settled on was at their Lynden store, drove up there Saturday to find it had half doors, was supposed to be stripped according to salesman. Showed him the pic then he learned that model comes with them, no extra charge. Financing comes through approved but they added their Kubota insurance after we told them we're insuring it (wife works at Allstate). Holy crap their insurance would total $2,300 geeze!

My brother works for Allstate also...

Yep, fresh corn!!!

It's already at full size... I've never seen it this good this early in the season... Usually it's a little small for the first two weeks, but it's bigger than the diameter of my big dinner plates already... If this is any indication of how it's going to be this season, this is going to be the best summer yet for corn!!!

Morning fellers. into the 90s this week, and our humidity is in the 70-80 % range. Not used to that, don't like to drink my air.

I'm trying to decide what i want to grow next.. i need to order some seeds.. problem is from my last grow i still have enough laying around for like 2 years of smoking :( **** never goes away...

Some employees at the Chevron Station I worked as a teen in Barstow threw some seeds they cleaned from a purchase of leafy intoxicants into the evergreen hedges at the station. Our boss was very methodical about irrigating those planters. About 6 weeks later these BRIGHT green weeds were beginning to be visible above the hedge  Boss was very unhappy and sent hourly employees out there to pull the weeds :rolleyes:

Does this make you the fabo cornstar?

It was time to put the yearly stickers on the old car licence plates. Might as well get the 66 out for a drive today. I think I'll take it over to Andy's to mow and then later to the drag strip to season our new griddle.

UPS just dropped off a treat. Found North batch 007. Regardless of the hour of the day, I had to open it. Delicious, sweet, light oak and caramel flavors. Finished in Hungarian Oak.
