Stop in for a cup of coffee

Then there ar people like me, the stretches to help my pirformus syndrome are impossible due to moderately severe arthritis in my hips and low back.. so do what i can, mostly just suffer.
That sucks frank. They ought to have come up with something you can do. Maybethats the difference between a run of the mill therapist and ones who use their noodle/

I was just thinking, when i started working on my car i would cut out too little metal cause i was soo stressed about every inch i had to remake..
Now that it's all done and i got into it, i'm like.. OHH!! a 1/4" spot of rust.. get the cuttff wheel! ends up kind of fun to see how well you can get it to be once repaired
Exactly how I feel do the best you can and it gets better with practice and I enjoy the the hard parts trying to figure out the best way to get things done.
Although sometimes it takes a bit of whiskey to figure out somethings.

Done with the HOA meeting, went smoothly for one lol! Glad we put up an EZ up, kinda hot out for here. Wife wants to go to commissary next, she shouldn't go with her kidney stones but she says she wants to so...

Had to put a new starter in my GMC pick up today and thinking it only has 97,000 miles on it so don't need gloves and should be a piece of cake to replace.
NOOO! got the starter unbolted and by that time I had to pee but figured I'd wait till I finagled the old starter out. NOOO it was a puzzle getting that starter out and my hands are covered in grease and had to pee real bad by then.
Yea I made it to the back yard to pee. Ever try to unzip with greasy fingers!!!!

TMI but funny as hell.

A shop is a place where you wash your hands before you pee.

Of course I didn't plan dinner so then I was figuring out what I can make at the last minute.

Salad to start. Might as well put some of the Nasturtium to good use along with turnips, basil and random greens from the garden.

Pretty predictable main course. Mushroom and meat sauted in with tomato sauce.

I realize I don't get points on presentation, but it didn't stay on the plate long!

Looks good. I had a hot dog with bacon because I forgot to get something out of the freezer.

50 chev saga continues.. drive shaft shortened. Machinist took more than i wanted. Not bad, will have to do. Shifter setup is crap. Detents dont match column movement, so piddled with that for a couple hours. Frustrating, as it wasnt set up right to begin with.i want to make sure things are right to prevent failure. One day install is going into day 3. Well, im basically letting him use shop and tools.

Sob dude, they ain’t ugly welds. You should see mine.

Funny thing is, I can stack dimes with a stick on anything thicker than 1/8 inch. This thin sheet metal, not so much

Thanks Chris.

Finally hit a good setting combination on the welder.... made it go far better. Not burning through is a win.

Previously, the only thing that bolt went into was body filler on the back side. More than I wanted to get into but I feel better about it going forward. Hopefully the other side isn't any worse than this was.
