@Rainy Day Auto is buying up early A parts today :wtf:
Snagged up a good one

ahh, I was hoping no one saw that ...I have a reputation to keep.

Just kidding,

I actually need you and people like @cosgig to teach me about early A's because I don't know what I am doing. I don't know what fits what and the differences in parts among the 63-6 era.

Next I am going to have to hunt down some bucket seats. There is a pair for sell :realcrazy: on here now for a 66 but Mr. Cosgig says to wait for some earlier ones .....what would I do without good fabo folks who know their early A stuff.

I wanted to make sure you seen me say that so I added your name, So sorry, if you like I can delete them, 63 threw 66 most everything inside the car and chassis will all work on each, body trim and parts not so much, Geoff knows his stuff and if you do have a question please ask if it has to do with the early A's @Rainy Day Auto

I have a set of buckets from my 66 that are pretty nice. All the parts are there, been reupholstered but not original. Dont know how to ship something that big but if you want them, let me know. We could work out a fair price.

nah its cool ...you are my fabo family and I am proud to be in the early A scene now...I was just messin with you :p

I didn't see your post based on the hyperlink, I only saw because I check this thread daily.

I am actually finding that 63 has a lot of small differences from 64-5 and 66 almost seems like a totally different animal.

well they are saying that 66 would bolt up but there might be height differences and not totally right.

I was advised to wait for some earlier ones to suit the car better.

I think 66 has the hard backs like a 67 and the earlier ones do not.

I think there is no difference, but let me check.. Just the style of the upholstery,

Just looked 63 and 66 are the same. Just different covers.

Dash, body and body trim is the main things , but I am sure there are things I am not thinking of :) And thank you sweethart, I was looking at that post for the first time on the delete plate and then your post showed up :steering: good snag by the way

the car I am working on actually has a nice radio so I didn't actually need the delete plate but in a way I like plain jane cars. Plus I don't actually use the radio even when it is there and works because they don't really play my kind of music on AM and that plus I really like to drive in quiet most of the time. Just road noise and a hum from the engine.

I figure that delete plate on the shelf is not a bad thing, especially for that price. I am used to expensive 67-72 parts so I can get used to this early A stuff and the lower prices. :p

choices choices choices.

Its 4 o clock here and time to start thinking about dinner

Pizza ....burger.....fried chicken......a bratwurst.

so many choices .......it's too hard to decide

Not to bad, I've just been busier than snot. I've tried to make it on in the morning and work has gotten in the way.. Then when I get home, that is more busy time.. This is the first night I've gotten home before 7pm.

Glad you snagged it up  Like you I am the same on driving with just the sound of the road and engine :) and if I did have a radio in my 66 (half the time I did not) I listened to NASCAR at the drag strip on Sunday or some good old cassette tapes from the 70/80es.:D. Have a good evening :) Memikie is about to take my better half out for supper :p
