Stop in for a cup of coffee

That’s gorgeous!! That looks badass. Having a place to stay there is a bonus for you
Yeah I want to build one really bad. But then I have dreamt of this Charger for decades...so. this first. Then maybe the 34

Yes it does. Chrysler and Ford are more "stealthful" about the situation than GM AFM and GM DOD. On my GM I could watch the dash display and see V8-V4-V8-V4 going on back and forth adnuseaum. I guess not likely on any Chrysler or Ford product because of the nasty reputation of cylinder deactivation in general and the law suits.

Exhaust and Active Fuel Management (MDS)
6.4s didn’t come with it I thought?

lol. Well at least you are taking it in stages. 2 friends of mine have 10 cars between them and none are running. They are all in different stages of restoration.

So my daughter had her final completion for the year of her first 4H adventure.

We took 3 goats to the fair for her to show. We weren’t expecting wins or to even be competitive. We’ve been out of goats for nearly two decades and a lot sure has changed. Going into today, I figured she MIGHT have a slight chance at winning two breed championships (there’s 12 I think total).

Well, she not only took home both of those two breed champions but also Reserve Grand Champion Goat overall as well as Reserve Grand Champion Showmanship(a judgement of show skills not the animal). She also brought home a third Reserve Grand champion in the costume competition where the goat and the exhibitor wear costumes.

this brings her first year totals to:

4- Reserve Grand Champions
7- Champions
5 Reserve Champions
6- Blue ribbons with Merit awards.

That’s a pretty dang good haul.
My son also got to take place in the mini4H class since he’s not old enough for 4H and brought home a 1st place in showmanship skills for his age division.

I know it seems like I’m bragging but after what happened exactly a month ago to the date, honestly the worst day in my life and for my sons life, I am so proud and thrilled with how they both did this past week.

I have my 27 Ford rat rod, just finished a 31 Rat rod for my son, my 71 GSS Demon, and the Charger project. Knock on wood, 3 work great. 1 is about 50-60% built. I hope to be driving it next year.

My Dad was a crazy person with boats.. and my example... he would be annoyed by the guys in the marina that just sat on their boats and never went out. He had a USCG 10-Ton Captain's license.. Always power boats... He would cruise all up and down the New England coast... do New York City etc... Had some wild trips with him.

His thing was "Take the $!%#( thing out... that's what it's made for"

Congratulations on the haul Chris. Great life lessons there!

I saw your sons rat rod. That looks awesome. The demon I see in your avatar that looks good also. When the charger is finished that will be cool to see also

That’s awesome! You should be proud. That is quite the accomplishment. Brag all you want.

Good for them. 4 H and FFA are great programs.

Cool story behind the Demon!

Here is the Demon and one of thr Charger. The Chrager is styled after at late 60s NASCAR, with lots of patina and some liberties.

I'll let Eric tell the story. It's a magazine car. @71GSSDemon
The whole story is in my signature, but short version. My dad bought this 1971 Mr Norms Demon new from Grand Spaulding Dodge Oct 10, 1971. Raced it for 10 years, selling it in 1982. It was used 1 summer and spent 34 years in 2 different garages. I found it in 2018 and got it back on the road. Enjoying every minute.

SAVE THE DEMONS

(Wait, did that sound creepy?)

That’s a cool story to have with your car. Did you know who he sold it to or did you happen to stumble across it?

I stumble upon a Craigslist ad. The guy had the story. I took dad with me to buy it back and he knew some details. I was able to buy back all of the original paperwork from Grand Spaulding Dodge to prove it as well.
