Funny at the old house we had a herd usually five or six deer for 30 years. We could sit and talk on the deck while they worked their way across the yard. Any friends out with a strange scent they'd stop sniff and head back the other way. They learn your scent and know you aren't a threat. Anything different in their world and they become skittish.

I've gone twice. Once on a Sunday late in the season (Nov ? ) and left around 2:30 PM without getting a single run in.
The other time went on a Tues evening and brought my dinner. Got one pass in around 9:30 PM and estimated I might get another before closing. Or might not. Didn't feel lucky and went home.
Might do better paying to race (rather than just running for time) as I *think* you usually get a second shot if you lose in the first round of gamblers, or at least get one test run before race. I think thats how it was at Island and E-town. Once in a while we did that. But usually I had my coleage from work drive. He was much better in reaction time and getting the car off the line (had run stock eliminator upo until a few years before).

That would leave me pretty pissed off.... Milan can get stupid busy like that but not too often.. i have 2 other tracks about a hour away but have only been to each once or twice... Ubly is probably the least busy.. they just within the last few years got an actual tower and are fixing the place up.. it was pretty much 2 lanes off the side of a road forever...

Hell.. actually looks pretty nice now, i haven't been there in a long time
 
I really hate this new thing of 100 people standing right next to cars as they launch...

Good morning. Saw a few mentions of storms in back read skim through. Got ugly here again last night. Quite a bit south of me, but grabbed this pic someone put up on FB… This was said to be taken during rain delay at Camden Yards. Looked about the same here at one point.. :eek:

Good morning everyone. Slow start for me. Gathering my bearings before a full day in the garage. Watching some YT videos with coffee
