Agreed! Which is why I do it. Back in 2021, the wall cloud I was watching rotate wasn’t showing up on the radar, my video I sent to the NWS and local sheriff office resulted in a warning . 5 miles later, it dropped one down heading towards a small town. Radar never picked up the rotation until the debris from the barn. Luckily no injuries. I like to think I actually did some good that day.

It's the Chesapeake Balloon Festival. They launched from the Mason Dixon Fairgrounds in Delta PA.

Son called me today and what's to take me flying tomorrow in his small plane.
YEA!!! I'd love to. Took me a bit to get use to flying in a small plane but after a few trips long distance I can handle it now. North Dakota to Washington State was a fantastic time and good memories. Some pictures of some of our trips.

Great pictures Fred. I was in the Civil Air Patrol in High School. Flew a bit then. Found our I liked jumping out of them more than flying IN them. I have a lot of 1/2-way trips logged
Went on a cruise with friends tonight. Never had a Daytona in my driveway before...

Looks like another nice day coming up.
Late night,visited friends, brought them a big flat rock we had in our flowerbed. Was 200 lbs im guessing. Put it in bucket of tractor and tipped it out exactly where they wanted it. Was a little sketch going down the riverbank, but i was expecting it. Left tractor there, going back for it this morning.
Looks like another nice day coming up.

Picked the one that looked like a shuttle for my prize in the reading contenst (not first place but did well enough)
Tested its glide out the 2nd story window. OK
As soon as it left its launch rod, flipped on its back and went across the field. Wing clipped the otehr 6th grade teacher's leg. That was the end of the Estes rocket prizes.
Just finished my CPR/first aid videos.
Live class starts at 9 AM.

With my employment I did the CPR recertification every year for 30 years. Amazing how it changed in technique over the years. Have fun!!All autos or just A-bodies?
