Stop in for a cup of coffee

Im hard on glasses. Same thing, in and out of the pocket, they fall on floor. Thats the thing about readers. I cant use bifocals due to needing glasses to work on cars from below as well from above. They tried to sell progressives, i hated them. Soon i will need two pairs.
You need to get some bigger lense glasses and have them cut the bi focal in the top and bottom. Occupational Bifocals and Trifocals.

Yup... my prior dog was about that age... I believe Gunner was up there as well right Mitch?

It takes a while to process all of that. I didn't do well for a while.
Ya, Gunner was thirteen. But he had been having trouble with a shoulder at first , then the hips. Been just over a year now since he's gone. I'm still looking around for him all the time....

Guess i need to get moving, try and get t-bird done. Have to get into cleanup mode, prep for the pig roast. 45 people attending so far.
Someone is coming to look at Barracuda next week. So a picture of it for calendar may not be such a good idea. With it gone, i can put some effort into the 76 Dart Sport that has been sitting for 30 plus years. I did drop an engine in so it runs an moves.
Guess i could snap a picture of the lineup of cars that attend the party.

Thats kind of funny throwing around the idea of selling the cuda also prob never get it done.

Interesting on the digital MSD fails. So far it seems around 1/4 of them failed at least once.

I think a solution might be a holster type case on the belt.
I also found progressive's awful for many things including working on the car if I have to get lowand look straight ahead or up. (no lift so that's most things)
My sight is good enough for most things but close up small stuff I can't really fake it anymore except in really good light.

I thought about that. Expensive experiement.
Bought some 1 x and 1.5 x safety glasses to help focus on the front sight when shooting, and experiemnt with in the workshop.
Absolutely no go for woodworking - especially in my basement. Too much distortion off center. I think every board is twisted or cut at an angle...
pretty good for shooting though, esp the 1 x

Didn't know you were selling it.

'76 car are interesting. A lot of little things different from other years, somewhat similar to the 'F' bodies.
Accel pedal hinged at the floor. Shunted ammeter. May have a hinged fusebox (like 75)

Have to watch C-130 props. Kind of hypnotizing you want to walk towards them. Just weird.

One of the instructors I work with is retired AF. Specifically C130 jockey and trainer. He wrote curriculum teaching pilots how to fly, then went to Lockheed and did same. He writes most of our curriculum and is exceptionally good at it. We collaborate on developing and in the end we have pretty darn good content. He can be a bit dry tho!

Not great actually.......................I was unplugged since Late Thursday.

We had to say goodbye to our beagle Cooper on Friday. He was 15 years old.
My condolences. I know it's tough, but I have this idea that they leave us because there is another waiting for a good home and caretaker.
Wife and I took a little road trip over the past weekend, mostly to get away from the BS here at home. We agreed we should have taken Miss Gracie with us. Wife said she wouldn't want Benny junior to know she missed the dog more than she missed him. Enough said.
