Stop in for a cup of coffee

All play here today. We went and played nine this morning.
Before we played at the range Cheryl saw a left foot lift I was doing.
I fixed that, hit the old driver and didn't miss a fairway.
Took the GD back to the range this afternoon. She hit balls and then played three holes.
I took the new driver and with the lift fix was hitting it straight again. A plus!!
A good day and an even better evening with a toddy in hand...enjoy!!
Folks underestimate the benefit of having a Buddy critique what you are doing while you practice. They see the little things that you don’t while you are doing X. Even worse is videoing yourself, you want to see flaws in your mechanics and fundamentals that is a great way. Watching a video of my transitions I looked like an epileptic! Really helped, but man ya got to have thick skin cuz it ain’t pretty!

So does that mean old driver is once again regulated to basement? New driver back in the bag?

If it's a chromed steel shaft, they make really good BBQ implements

Kinda like a new handgun. The new one just needs a little more break-in.
At the range my golf club has a club fitting bay with a high-tech launch monitor.
They have a large selections of driver shafts for my type driver that can be switched out with the turn of a screw.
I'm going out sometime this week and spend some time on the monitor. Easy fix.
I like the old driver played it for years. The new driver is an upgrade gives me 20 more yards a two club second shot difference which probably means nothing to most haha!! For you it would be like shooting from the seven-yard line instead of the 25.

Hmm... gonna piss some people off.
If I put my 18's on and run a 275/70R18 I'd have to cut the wheel well.
Hmm....
These would stuff further into the well with weight on them. This is just for visual.
My 18" wheels with 235/40R18 is way too small.

Your car, if you have a vision, go for it. Just think you may need to upgrade brakes. Safe above everything else.

Still not asleep. Melatonin to the rescue. It is raining now though so the pitter/ patter on the roof may help me drift off.

Meh I have 18s and no one has said word one in a negative manner about them. It’s more the 20s and 22s that look like ricer rims that catch you some feedback
