I’m wondering just how much longer before your rates out there go stupid high with the fewer companies in the market.

I’m also shopping around for new insurance after mine chose to nearly double my rates with zero claims. I’m not exactly happy about it

I have to save this here. The speed shop I worked at. I managed one of the local stores.

That is part of the issue. They cannot raise rates per ca law.

I see. Part of me would agree with that to a point being how we’re required to have insurance by law, yet we have no controls over what insurance companies charge here. But the other part of me going capitalism and the government should stay out of price fixing.

You and I with no claims are who pays for losses due to hurricanes, earthquakes, mudslides, forest fires and the like.

I wonder how much of Themis situation too has been driven by stupidly skyrocketing house prices. There’s homes that three years ago, were worth 100-150k, selling for north of 400 now. Actually selling.

Good morning men.....took 67 out for a run yesterday, first time with power disc brakes, a conversion my brother started. Well, engine does not produce enough vacuum to operate the booster. Dang. So a vacuum pump I guess....
Might try a vacuum canister for some more storage.

Speaking of homeowners I got one of those flyers they usually send you, lower your rates so I figured why not call and check. They were a little cheaper but because of bundling my car insurance would’ve gone up.

I did learn something with my current insurance when I called inquiring about the price of my car insurance if I canceled homeowners. They had my square footage listed wrong. I was able to get it fixed and I am paying $1200 less and they sent me a refund check.
