Well this world class event is coming up right here local. Not sure yet if me and the boy are entering or not. I fear it is too close to my surgery date. In theory that is the day I get home. Doubt I will be up for it?

That might be pushing it but it would be interesting to see the recipes people produce

You folks don’t squirrel hunt up there? We always keep some in the freezer as we harvest them. Once we get enough for a “mess” our family makes jambalaya with them. When I teach Hunters Ed classes for Game and Fish on second day I always bring a crock pot of squirrel for lunch. The students as they arrive and find out, all roll their eyes and exclaim how gross it is. Keep in mind the average student is pre teen or just entering their teens young men. As the scent rolls across the class room all morning by lunch time them boys are salivating wanting to try some squirrel! I have never brought any home. Young men that age would eat a flat tire if you put garlic on it.

Off to bury the cat. ANd plant a tree. It was Andy's first pet. We are going to Flowerama for a pet marker.

We squirrel hunt. I like making squirrel and dumplings with them. I never tried it in jambalaya though. Squirrel is good. I love getting people to try new foods. My daughters friend was over one time when I made venison heart. After the meal was done she loved it but made faces prior to eating it.

Rough day.
Emptied about 1/2 my barn. Then spread gravel. So everything i have been saving is now sitting outside looking like a pile of trash, which amounts to a ton of scrap metal i think. Probably a ton. I hope.

Man wore myself out today. I have been in the shop all day taking everything off the shelves and cleaning and organizing. Much better and a lot of empty shelves now

The old commercials are the best. Commercials now a days have no fun to them.

I only stream so the only commercials I see are pharmaceuticals.... but yeah on the odd occasion i see one it seems the corporations want to promote some social message I think. Half the time I don't even know what the product is
