Stop in for a cup of coffee

I need to stock the new downstairs. Other than Woodford and Eligah Craig for my usual whiskey stock I wanted a different one for people to try.

TMM @toolmanmike I was at the liquor store the other day and saw a couple whiskeys and wondered if you'd tried them??
Rabbit Hole Heigold
Jack Daniels Bonded
Bulleit Bourbon
Kansas Straight Bourbon Whiskey
I have Rabbit Hole Cavehill, Derringer, and Rye but no Heigold. (I need one) It's a high Rye bourbon which is right in my wheelhouse. It's a good brand. Jack Daniels has been getting pretty crafty lately and it's all better than the old #7. I haven't tried the bonded but I really like the Triple mash. I have gone through a few bottles of that. Speaking of Jack, I have a half dozen different Single barrel, Barrel Proof. It is aged, thick creamy, butterscotch and oak. Watch the proof though. 128-135. Oh Bulliet, It must be good. I have 7 different bottles, one is a 12 year and 2 are local barrel picks. I really like their Rye. The Kansas SBW I haven't heard of or tried. It sounds like fun though. I like trying craft distillery juice. It sounds like this may be a single barrel. Each barrel is bottled separately and each barrel is different because of the oak used and the location in the rickhouse. Bourbon like this can be a fascinating tasting experience and collecting hobby. SOunds like fun. Here's a review I found. Kansas Whiskey Offers Up More Single Barrel Straight Bourbon

Woodford is good. I have 3 bottles of that but EC must be a bunch better. I have 19 bottles of that. A few duplicates but most are different and many Barrel picks and limited releases.

I just got done reading the reviews. They had the Heigold for $35 cheap based on what they said. So that and probably the Kansas Whiskey and see how they did. Thanks!!

I did have a EC limited like 125 proof but my whiskey sipping wife liked it and between us it was gone in a few weeks...haha!!

Let me know what you think. Both sound interesting to me.

We watching fire trucks. The giant grain bin that’s at least 200 feet diameter and 60-80 feet tall is on fire and looks like a Roman candle

I’m sipping on Bulliet tonight. It’s the first time I have had it. I’m no high end connoisseur but I am enjoying it.

Trans half together.. guy came over to pick up my spare 727 i bought for the pump/input shaft.. he has a 67 coronet that he was given on a episode of roadkill.. ****** is insanely clean too.. He is swapping to a big block after blowing up 5 318s (admittedly his own fault for doing full throttle burnouts and just beating them to death)
Ended up bullshitting for awhile.. he has never had mopars so i explained to him how to not explode a 727 doing burnouts and i pulled my rear annulus drum and the sprag fell apart.. first time putting all those springs and rollers back in. Anyway... getting there :)
