Stop in for a cup of coffee

Anyway, I just sent my LD4B on its way. Now I'm going out in the sun to clean up my 'new' LD340.

Good morning. Feels a little strange with no little birds to watch outside my window today. I figure the parents take them far enough from the nest so they won't try to go back? I walked out there and didn't see any signs of the birds but heard plenty of chirping. Looks like it was lucky timing for them because it's going to storm tomorrow, today they are probably practicing getting their own food. Life goes on, things never stay the same.

I will be 54 this year as well and still very young at heart. I have discovered a Momma Duck in a nest beside my house. I snooped when she left, I have 9 eggs in there to deal with. lol I bought a bag of corn meal and have been feeding the mom put water out for her too.

Welcome to the coffee thread, Fisher, very cool Duster in your avatar. We are big on birds here too it seems lol.

theres a difference?

Yes, the LD340 is made for the large port 340/360 heads and has the coil mount bosses in the stock position...

The LD4B is made to match the smaller 273/318 ports (66 and later bolt pattern) and does not have mounting bosses for the stock coil position. You must relocate the coil to use this one...

The D4B is made for the small port 64-65 273 heads with the smaller 5/16" intake bolts at the different angle than the 66 and later intakes. I'm not sure about the coil bosses on this one....

All good intakes for a small block. Either will run well on the small block, even if the ports are not "matched"....
